Leaves' Eyes

Leaves' Eyes is a band with elements from Stavanger, Norway and Ludwigsburg, Germany. The band assembled in 2003, shortly before singer Liv Kristine was fired from Theatre of Tragedy. Leaves' Eyes currently consists of Liv Kristine (female vocals), Alexander Krull (male vocals, programming), Sander van der Meer (guitars), Thorsten Bauer (guitars/Bass), and Roland Navratil (drums & percussion). Former members include Martin Schmidt (drums, left in 2004), Chris Lukhaup (bass, left in 2007), and Moritz Neuner (drums, left in 2007).

Axxis

In 1988 after sending in only one demo song AXXIS were signed to EMI Electrola. The debut album "Kingdom of the Night", 1989 which was already released in Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia and the USA sold 100 000 copies immediately. It became the best selling debut album by a Hard Rock band in Germany in 1989. "Axxis II" marked a similar huge success in 1990, followed by the authentic and energetic live release "Access All Areas" a year later. The ambitious "The Big Thrill" became a best seller in 1993.

Twin

Among many other artists who used "Twin" as a moniker, Twin are: 1) rock duo Betsy Kwo and Rachel Carns. They released a split-EP with Mikaela's Fiend on S.A.F. Records in 2007. 2) experimental electronic trio Brendan Murray, Howard Stelzer and Jason Talbot 3) house trio Fredrik Eriksson, Joachim Persson and Niclas Molinder. In 1999 they released "Star Wars Theme (The Force)" on Detective Records. However, among the majority of filesharing users it is known as an Aphex Twin hoax.

Law

1. The band (= Life After Weekend) was formed in 1993 in the german town called Duisburg. Three guys Uli Rogosch (vocals/guitar). Uwe Skirde (bass) and Andreas Halfmann (drums/vocals) started the project hitting their instruments in the garage of Uli's father. At first they played songs of Nirvana and U2 before they soon started writing their own stuff. The three letters LAW stand for "Life after Weekend" and the 2nd guitar player Marcel Jonen (guitar/vocals) joined the band in 1996. They went through typical stages every young band has to.

Deadlock

There are at least 8 bands that use the name Deadlock: 1. Deadlock are a German band that combine metal with the harsh atmospheric nature of today’s modern sounds. Founded in the later half of 1997, Deadlock took their time to find a solid line-up and the right attitude towards cultivating a sound all their own. After their first self-titled 7 Inch was released, the band gained further attention with their MCD "I’ll Wake You When Spring Awakes". The quintet started to include keyboards and clean female vocals to their songs during the period of their release “The Arrival.
