Immortal Technique

Felipe Andres Coronel (born February 19, 1978), better known by the stage name Immortal Technique, is a Peruvian rapper, and an urban activist. He was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Harlem, New York. Most of his lyrics focus on controversial issues in global politics. The views expressed in his lyrics are largely a mixture of socialist commentary on issues such as class hierarchy, poverty, religion, government and institutional racism.

Grieve

Grieve is a four-piece heavy metal band from Huddersfield Grieve began life in Huddersfield, 2003 under their old guise of Icarus. Inspired by the music of Black Sabbath, Pantera and early Metallica they began gigging solidly. Initially a metal covers band they began to shift towards their ever increasing amount of original material. To give the band more individuality the name was changed in mid 2006 to Grieve. With this name change the band began working on heavier material, keeping faithful to their inspirations but still creating an original sound.

Spaceheads

UK duo Spaceheads have released 7 albums on such labels as Merge, BiP_HOp, Pandemonium Rdz. Andy Diagram (trumpet) and Richard Harrison (drums), take their unique sound, based on live trumpet loops, drums and electronics, to greater sonic extremes.
Lazy grooves and thick harmonised trumpet chords; sleazy deep beat brass and crushed up metallic drumbeats. Spaceheads mix the raw emotional sound of breath with the banging of wood on skin, and push it through the blips, crackle and distortion of pixelated electronic noise.

Model Citizen

Model Citizen refers to more than one band: 1) Model Citizen is a rock/punk/garage band from Birmingham, AL. The band features current and former members of The Dexateens, Paul "Wine" Jones and the Parasites. The band consists of Matt Patton (guitar, vocals), Mike Gaut (drums) and Rapid Randy (bass). They have released three albums on a variety of record labels around the US. 2) Model Citizen was a 3rd-wave Ska band hailing from Logan, UT.

Rebels

Although The Rebels weren't around long, they were not short on talent. The group consisted of John Mathews (bariton), "Big" Jim Hamill (later went on to fame with the Kingsmen), Horace Parrish (tenor), and London Parris (bass). Other members included Jay Berry and Jimmy Taylor.

There are three bands named Dissident.
1) Dissident from Russia.
2) Dissident from Australia.
3) Dissident from Bulgaria. 1) Dissident is the production name of Russian based Stanislav Sevostyanikhin. Residing in St.Petersburg at the Baltic sea shore, he spends most of his time slicing beats, sampling street sounds and creating trends in modern music culture. He is influenced by very different kinds of music that allowed him to produce such diverse and truly innovative tunes.
