Blade

1. Born in the Armenian quarter of Iran, Blade came to London aged 7. Within months of arriving, he felt the effect of the Islamic revolution back home. Unable to send money out of the country, Blade’s family could no longer support him. So, with no money, no family, alone in a strange country, Blade’s self-reliance and determination were all he had to see him through. The microphone, the studio and the stage provided his only release.

Brightside was one of the leading bands of the Eurocore-genre which swept across the continent's heavy music scene with an unparalleled force. The band had its home in Kassel, home to the Ryker's as well, and were active members of the legendary 'Kassel Crew'. Their records were released by the infamous German records label 'Lost&Found'. Having been friends for several years and gathering experience in bands like Battle Royale,
Disrespect, Shortage and Lifeforce, for some local scenesters the time was right to bring
the violence back to the dancefloor. And what better way to do this without getting hurt
themselves than to form a band. They started jamming in 2003, with the aim of playing
