A Tale of Two Cities formed in late 2009 and hail from near Bristol in the South West of England. The bandʼs sound is one of modern rock, similar to Saosin and Paramore. Taking influences from bands such as Thrice, Alexisonfire and 30 Seconds to Mars, ATOTC aim to write powerful rock songs that remain accessible to a wide audience. ATOTC also aim to use music to spread a message to people, highlighting various campaigns such as poverty awareness, teen suicide and animal rights which is reflected in their song lyrics.

State Of East London are a 5 piece all round metal band from the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2007. They have released a 6 track EP "Animasitas", and have recorded a full length album 'Repugnance' which was released 2011. Announced on the bands myspace on March 31st, Marcel (vocals) has left the band citing differences in music taste and influence. The band is not looking for a new vocalist as they already have one lined up.

Desaparecidos was a short-lived American quintet formed in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, fronted by Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) and featuring Denver Dalley, now of Statistics (guitar), Landon Hedges, now of Little Brazil (bass), Ian McElroy (keyboards), and Matt Baum (drums). This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.
There is more than one band with the name Hands:  Shane Ochsner, Josh Silbernagel, Chris Schwartz and Jerik Hendrickson are collectively Hands, a band that combines circling atmospheric guitars punctuated with hard hitting progressions. They are a band in which rock and roll meets ambient hardcore and warm silvery singing rivals hardcore screams. The warmth of their songs is in strong contrast to the raw biting North Dakota weather that surrounds them.
Formed in September 2006, Escape Fails took little time to establish themselves as a force on the Irish scene.
Their unique blend of metal and post hardcore coupled with raw heartfelt lyrics saw them stand apart from their peers in all genres. With interest in the band growing and spreading outside of Ireland, Escape Fails not happy being confined to their homeland, developed a work ethic that no unsigned band has been able to emulate.
The Word Alive is a six-piece post-hardcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. This band is formerly Calling of Syrens. Initially forming as Joyspeed in 1989, the band was renamed Aqua in 1994 and achieved huge success across the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles. The group released two albums: Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, before splitting up in July 2001. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most successful Danish band ever and the second most successful Norwegian band.
