Bastian

Bas Bron is perhaps most famous in the Netherlands under the moniker Bastian. As Bastian, he scored a modest national hit in 2001 with the song You've Got My Love, which was accompanied by a music video showing the song's lyrics on shirts worn by dancing women, showing only their upper chest. The song reached #17 in the Dutch Top 40. Later in 2001 the debut album Ready was released, filled with electrofunk and electropop-influenced music enhanced with Commodore 64 sound effects. Two years later the second album It's All Downhill From Here came out.

Filippo Calcagni aka Dj Mad Dog started his DJ career just as joke. In 1995 after 3 years of hard work with the tecnichs, he met two friends (an M.C. and a DJ) with whom he formed a team: HARDCORE TERRORISTS. With this team Filippo has a lot of success especially in his city Rome.
In 1996 the Hardcore Terrorists made their debut with their first live-act at the QUBE (one of the symbol club in Rome). After that night, the performances of this team followed one another and their success was unavoidable!

1.) Dutch Death Metal band XENOMORPH was founded in 1992 emerging from the underground scene in The Netherlands. Their most steady line-up became: DeTombe (vocals), Coert Zwart (guitar), Kreft (guitar), JRA (bass) and Marc Bomber (drums). They most likely got their name from the "scientific" predicate given to the aliens starring in the Aliens movie series. Their lyrics are mostly about evil, Satan, and other dark and occult stuff more than once inspired by the work of artists like H.R. Giger and Sir Ridley Scott.

One of the many artists/bands that uses the name Shark Bait is a screamo/folk/emo band formed in Louisiana. With members of many other local bands Shark Bait have recently released 'Growing Pains,' Still Growing'and a split with Adaje available at their bandcamp. You can find them at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shark-Bait/108591182530199 A Dutch band that was founded in Haarlem, The Netherlands by bass-player Tim Verwaal and keyboard-player Remon Rijper in 2008.
