The name Send More Paramedics is a reference to the 1985 horror/comedy, Return of the Living Dead. The band originally formed as a side project of Leeds band 'And None of Them Knew They Were Robots, but have gained a higher profile than And None of Them Knew They Were Robots, who have since split up. The band played in the 1980s crossover style, what they described as "Zombiecore... a fusion of 80s thrash and modern hardcore punk", with lyrics about zombies and cannibalism, and are heavily influenced by zombie movies.
Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn was born September 17, 1974, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has released a number of albums under the K Records label. She has collaborated with her close friend Phil Elvrum of The Microphones and has also worked extensively with The Black Cat Orchestra. Mirah is the youngest of three children and lived in Bala Cynwyd, a suburb of Philadelphia for most of her childhood. She then moved to Olympia, Washington and attended The Evergreen State College. She is modest and deliberate, prefers privacy to invasion and reconciliation to war.

Pseudo Echo were an Australian new wave band. Formed in the early eighties by school friends Brian Canham (vocals, guitars, and keyboards) and Pierre Gigliotti (bass and keyboards), the band completed its lineup with Anthony Agiro (drums) and Tony Lugton (guitars and keyboards). Their first album Autumnal Park was an Ultravox-influenced album that yielded the Australian singles "Listening" (produced by Peter Dawkins) , "Stranger in Me", "Dancing Till Midnight", and "Beat for You". It was a mature album that gave little indication of their youth.
There are several artists with the name "Axewound" or "AxeWound": 1. AxeWound is a band formed in 2011 as a side project for Bullet For My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck (although here he plays lead guitar only). The band is completed by Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats (vocals), Mike Kingswood of Glamour Of The Kill (rhythm guitar), Joe Copcutt formally of Rise To Remain (bass) and Jason Bowls of Pitchshifter (drums). Sun Kil Moon is the current project of singer-songwriter Mark Kozelek, best known for his previous band, Red House Painters. Sun Kil Moon sees Kozelek undertake all the writing, composing, singing and guitar playing accompanied by Tim Mooney and Anthony Koutsos (also an ex-member of RHP) on drums, and Geoff Stanfield on bass. The band is named after korean bantamweight boxer Moon Sung-Kil. Their debut album, Ghosts of the Great Highway, was written entirely by Kozelek, and released by Jetset Records in 2003.
