Arcturus is an avant-garde metal band from Oslo, Norway featuring many prominent members of the Norwegian black metal scene from bands such as Ulver, Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Borknagar, The Kovenant, Emperor, and Winds. Arcturus have experimented throughout their career, extracting influences and incorporating elements from all over the musical spectrum including black metal and classical music, but the core of their sound has always been metal.

Solefald is a metal band from Norway that was formed by members Lars Are "Lazare" Nedland and Cornelius Jakhelln in August 1995, with Lars singing and playing keyboard/synthesizer/piano and drums, and Cornelius singing and playing guitar and bass. The meaning of the band's name is best explained in an interview from Century Media Records website. Lazare states "Solefald is an old norse word for sunset. We "stole" it from a painting by the Norwegian artist Theodor Kittelsen.
1) Amen Corner was a successful British rock group, formed in late 1966 in Cardiff, Wales. Named after Amen Corner, a small residential area on the edge of Bracknell in Berkshire. Scar the Martyr is an American heavy metal band formed in 2013 as a side project for Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison. The group was announced in April 2013 by the drummer and was shown to feature former Strapping Young Lad guitarist Jed Simon and ex-Darkest Hour guitarist Kris Norris. In June 2013 the group announced its name and full lineup, which includes former Nine Inch Nails keyboardist Chris Vrenna and relatively unknown vocalist Henry Derek Bonner. Their first album will be released on October 1st 2013.And the band has released a new song named "Blood Host" on 2nd August.
Emperor is an influential Norwegian black metal band that represents a synth laden, progressive yet brutally aggressive and chaotic part of the genre, something quite different from the minimalism of other originators of the Norwegian black metal sound (e.g. Darkthrone). The band was formed around the core members Samoth (Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen) and Ihsahn (Vegard Sverre Tveitan) of the death metal band Thou Shalt Suffer and bass player Mortiis (Håvard Ellefsen) in Notodden, Norway, 1992.

Draconis Infernum is a Singaporean black metal band that was formed in 2005 and released it's debut full-length album Death In My Veins in 2008. In August 2009, the band played at Barther Metal Open Air Festival 2009 (Germany), emerging as the third Black Metal band from Southeast Asia ever to set foot on the European shores. In December 2010, Draconis Infernum released a single entitled Proclamation of Encroachment and supported Swedish black metallers Marduk, on their Asian Black Death Redemption Tour for 2 dates in Indonesia, Semarang and Jakarta.
