Catharsis

There are twelve different artists under this name: 1. Catharsis was an anarchist hardcore punk band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, releasing their albums through the CrimethInc. collective. Their singer, Brian, was editor of the political hardcore punk fanzine Inside Front and later went on with other ex-members of Catharsis to form the band Requiem. 2. Catharsis was a French art band who released albums during the 1970's. Their first album, "Masq" (1971), was a mixture of formless chanting, hypnotic melodies, prominent percussion, Arabic styles, and experimental songcraft.

SCORNED
leeds hardcore/beatdown band, UK scorneduk.bandcamp.com/ Other bands called Scorned 1) Scorned is an Austrian Dark Metal Band from Oberwart (Burgenland). They created the band in 2006 and played their last gig on the 29th of October 2011 but reformed in 2012 without their keyboard player. The 5 musicians were on tour with Six Feet Under and other bands from Hungary, Germany, Finnland and Luxenburg. Their music was influenced by bands like Graveworm,Children Of Bodom, Ensiferum, Dimmu Borgir, Wintersun, Borknagar, Black Sabbath or Behemoth.

Broken Oath

Broken Oath formed in Glasgow/Scotland (UK) in 2001, after several minor lineup changes their first demo was self released. Limited to 300 copies this sold out fast! More lineup changes followed as well as extensive touring of the UK. The now settled lineup released a split CD (What lies ahead) with Peterborough band Eviscerate AD. The release of this CD on Unity Worldwide Recordings saw the band hit mainland Europe for the first time.

Guided Cradle

Guided Cradle started as a cover band called Anti-Climax in spring 2004 doing crust punk and thrash metal covers. A year later they added Austin Lucas on the 2nd guitar and changed their name to Guided Cradle. A 'Guided Cradle" was an instrument of torture Christians used on unbelievers. With the new guitarist and original songs, they recorded their debut LP. They are now based in Portland, OR, after living in Prague, Czech Republic. Current line-up

Nashgul

Nashgul are a grindcore band from A Coruña, Spain rooted in the grindy punk of bands like the old Extreme Noise Terror, old Napalm Death or Assuck, they also draw a notable influence from the metallic grind of Nasum and 80s thrash metal.

Krush

There are at least three artists with this name:
1) Krush were a successful dance music outfit who had a major crossover hit with "House Arrest (The Beat Is Law)" in 1987. The group consisted of artists Mark Gamble, Cassius Campbell and producers Mark Brydon and Robert Gordon. Their second single "Walking On Sunshine" was a club hit in 1992. The featured vocalist on both of these tracks was Ruth Joy. Brydon continued his success by later working as a producer with house act Moloko.

Instinct of Survival

Originally formed in 1995 as Sperrzone, they started off playing rough hardcore. At some point in the late '90s they renamed the band Instinct of Survival and changed their style to grindcore. Filthpact

Filthpact are a grindcore band hailing from Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Although they are self-described as: "Total Crust Violence". Early 2006 has seen the replacment of guitarist Ben Coombes. The new guitarist is from fellow Aberdeen based Death Metal band: Bonesaw. 2004
