Arcturus

Arcturus is an band from Oslo, Norway featuring many prominent members of the Norwegian black metal scene from bands such as Ulver, Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Borknagar, The Kovenant, Emperor, and Winds. Arcturus have experimented throughout their career, extracting influences and incorporating elements from all over the musical spectrum including black metal and classical music, but the core of their sound has always been metal.

John B McKenna hails from Carluke - a town more famous for its cartographers than its musicians. A genuine and original artist, his music has been described as the missing link between Bob Dylan and Boards of Canada. His intense lyrical imagery, bordering on the visionary is combined with ambient folk electronica to startling poetic effect. In the past year John has performed on bills with Jeffrey Lewis, The Twilight Sad, Grizzly Bear, The Aliens, Voice of The Seven Woods, The Most Serene Republic and Franz Ferdinand amongst others.

Evoken

Evoken is a funeral doom metal band from Lyndhurst, New Jersey, USA, one of the earliest U.S. doom/death metal bands that are still active today along with Novembers Doom and Rigor Sardonicous. Evoken are highly inspired by the Australian band Disembowelment. The band name Evoken is taken from the Thergothon song found on Fhtagn-nagh Yog-Sothoth. The band was founded by guitarist Nick Orlando and bassist Rob Robichaud under the name Funereus in April of 1992 and released a demo which sonds like extremely slow, dark brutal death metal with super deep growls.

Necrophagia

Necrophagia is an american band assembled in Wellsville, Ohio in 1983. They were one of the first bands and were a popular group in the underground "tape trading" scene of the early-to-mid-1980s. Featuring hard-driving metal and growling vocals, Necrophagia became a pioneer in the fledgling extreme metal genre. Their first full-length album, Season of the Dead, was recorded and released in 1987.

Electric Mud Generator

Electric Mud Generator are a Leeds based three-piece who formed in 2002. Having previously self-released an album in 2006, they put out their second recording - To the Disdain of Polyhymnia - in November 2008 on Total Prog Records, home of Leeds psychedelic monsters Humanfly. The band take influences from many sources including (amongst many others), Pink Floyd, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Ulver, Hawkwind, Black Sabbath, Bauhaus, Electric Wizard, Richard Thompson and The Thamesmen.

Awaken

Awaken is a band from Greenwich, CT formed in 2009 by vocalist Glenn DaGrossa. He was formerly the songwriter and founding member of the band Lazarus, which Kerrang! magazine hailed as "one of the quintessential metal bands of our time." Thanks to DaGrossa's soaring vocals and stellar song craftsmanship, Lazarus was also voted one of 2007's best unsigned bands by the staff at Germany's Heavy magazine and metalexpressradio.com said their 2007 debut, Episode One, "could have easily been sandwiched between Queensrÿche's The Warning and Saxon's Innocence Is No Excuse.

Graveworm

Originating from Bruneck, Italy, Graveworm are a melodic/symphonic black metal band with influence of gothic metal. They were formed in 1997, and are themed towards sadness, death, love and occult. Even before Graveworm released any demo they got signed by Serenades Records, who saw an incredible show of the band close to their hometown Brunico. A demo was produced straight after, featuring classic hymns like "Eternal Winds" or "When The Sky Turns Black", which were featured on their debut album "When Daylight’s Gone".

American Head Charge

American Head Charge, the Minneapolis-based band, which had its genesis when Cameron Heacock and Chad Hanks crossed paths in a Minnesota rehab facility in 1997, has up to now been known primarily for the radically dysfunctional behavior of the band members. "We were definitely out of control on our first tour, Ozzfest 2001," Mr. Banks admits. "It wasn't enough to just play our music; we also had to fire shotguns on stage and throw pigheads at the crowd.

System Divide is a band. Founded in Israel and Belgium in 2008, SYSTEM DIVIDE quickly became a transnational project with in its rank vocalists Sven De Caluwe (Aborted) and Miri Milman (ex-Distorted), longtime friends Cole Martinez (ex Years of Fire, Antenora), Andrew Lenthe (Antenora), and Mike Heller (Malignancy).
SYSTEM DIVIDE set out to revolutionize the conventions of the over-saturated melodic death metal genre, proving that extreme metal can have more depth than blast beats, while female vocals do not have to conform to the precepts of the “Goth” genre.
