Swedish Jenny Wilson makes elegant and sophisticated pop music with hints of synthpop. Her self-produced solo debut, Love & Youth, on which she also plays every instrument, was released to much critical acclaim in 2005. Music journalists ranked it as one of the best Swedish albums of the year. As a teenager in the early 90s, Jenny Wilson - born in 1975 - originally wanted to become a writer. At that time she discovered PJ Harvey's Rid of Me, an album that inspired her so much that she decided to give up on her writing career and focus on music.
Catharina Hagen (born on March 11, 1955) is a singer from East Berlin, Germany. She's a daughter of well-known East German actress Eva-Maria Hagen and writer Hans Oliva-Hagen. They divorced 5 years later due to the rising success of Eva-Maria (called "East Germany's Brigitte Bardot") as an actress on stage and in films. When Catharina (Nina) was 10 years old Eva-Maria had a partnership with dissident song-writer Wolf Biermann (see links at the end).

Summerset Avenue are a pop/rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in early 2010, the band consists of Leeanne Rodgers (vocals), Carlos Peregin (guitar), Steve Cannatelli (bass) and Darren Keane (drums). Summerset Avenue recorded their debut EP titled "Nowhere Near Home" in Boston, MA in July 2010, which was mixed and mastered by Mike Picotte and Mike Watts (The Almost, Story Of The Year, As Cities Burn), and was independently released in October 2010.

In April 2008, the band's album Home Waters was used as an april's fools joke by the manager of Moving Mountains, telling it's a leaked version of Death Cab for Cutie's new album, Narrow Stairs. Detroit had previously performed with Eric Clapton, released a solo album in 1982, and has since released more solo material as well as a blues album with the Marcy Levy Band. Fahey was born in Dublin, Ireland, and Detroit was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, hence her stage name.
