Norman

There are at least four bands and one dj with the name Norman: Norman is a band defined by its surroundings: the green, lush, and often soggy landscapes of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. An aesthetic layered with fields and farms, trees and hills, the valley is sandwiched between two mountain ranges and extends North to Portland, Oregon. Norman’s sophomore full-length, Hay, Hay, Make a Wish and Turn Away conjures images of a flatbed pickup rambling down a dusty country road on a warm Summer evening.

Flying Pickets

The Flying Pickets is a British a cappella vocal group, that had a surprise number one hit in 1983 in the UK singles chart, with their cover of Yazoo's track Only You. The name 'Flying Pickets' refers to mobile strikers who travel in order to join a picket. The group of six was founded by Brian Hibbard in 1982 by a group of actors , the "7:84 Theatre group", a fringe theatre group who had sung a capella in their production of One Big Blow, based on the 1984 UK miners' strike.

The Shorts

The Shorts are a hardcore punk band from Southampton, UK. They were formed by Mike Fox (guitar / vocals) and Tony Suspect (drums / vocals) in 2009. A demo was recorded with Kevin Borrett (ex Pilger) playing bass.They then recruited Neil Clelland (ex Intent / Pilger) to play guitar and the "Skinned Alive" EP was recorded in 2011. Alan Marshall (ex Whole In The Head / Chinapple Punx) joined. Influences: Minor Threat, Limp Wrist, The Stupids, 7 Seconds. Nina Hagen

Catharina Hagen (born on March 11, 1955) is a singer from East Berlin, Germany. She's a daughter of well-known East German actress Eva-Maria Hagen and writer Hans Oliva-Hagen. They divorced 5 years later due to the rising success of Eva-Maria (called "East Germany's Brigitte Bardot") as an actress on stage and in films. When Catharina (Nina) was 10 years old Eva-Maria had a partnership with dissident song-writer Wolf Biermann (see links at the end).
