"Mama" Cass Elliot, Baroness von Wiedenman (19 September 1941 – 29 July 1974), born Ellen Naomi Cohen, was a noted American singer who performed with The Mamas & the Papas. She then went onto a successful solo career, releasing nine albums. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she spent most of her childhood both in Baltimore and Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C. Elliot was widely considered the most charismatic member of the Mamas & the Papas due to her sense of humor and optimism, in part because of her large size and weight.

Kimbra
Kimbra, born and bred in Hamilton, New Zealand has been writing a fusion of jazz and soul for over 5 years, known for her erratic but graceful voice inspired by the likes of Björk and Jeff Buckley. Kimbra's first success was in 2004, receiving Second place in the Smokefree Rockquest along with Best Vocals and Womens Musicianship. Hop Along
Hop Along (formerly known as Hop Along, Queen Ansleis), which started out as Frances Quinlan’s solo project, is now a full-blown band, proudly adding Dominic Angelella of Dragonzord and Mark Quinlan of Netherfriends to the roster —-the 2005 release of “freshman year” is the act’s most solid album to date, but they released the album “Wretches” in mid 2009 while touring around the United States. Occasional touring/recording members include Eric Slick of Dr. Dog and Joe Baldacci of Dragonzord.

Deadend in Venice
Formed in late 2008, Deadend in Venice tried right from the beginning to combine the power of true Melodic Death Metal with the beauty of a clear female voice. A short three song demo was recorded at the end of the same year and first local club-gigs followed. In 2009 the band shared the stage with names like Tristania, Finntroll and Tanzwut on some bigger shows and played great concerts for both, crowd and band.

(1) reflekt is a Danish band, mainly located in Roskilde. The band consists of 7 members. They play soothing music with religious lyrics. In 2006 they self-released the EP 'Grace Falling'.
