There is more than one artist with the name Embrace, the first two of whom are significant:
1) a five-piece indie band from Leeds, England, who have enjoyed significant success in UK, including three number one albums and six Top 10 singles
2) a Post-Hardcore/Post-Punk band from Washington D.C. that had a galvanizing influence on the Washington, D.C. punk scene of the 80's and featured Ian MacKaye (who subsequently formed Fugazi)
3) a Dutch Trance duo
4) a Canadian Gothic Metal band

Lit

Lit is a post-grunge band, based in Fullerton, California, United States. They had several hits singles in the 1990s and early 2000s including My Own Worst Enemy, Miserable, Zip-Lock, Over My Head, Lipstick and Bruises, Addicted, Looks Like They Were Right and Times Like This. The band was formed in 1990 as a metal-oriented band, under the name "Razzle", and gained a large following. A few years later, the group changed its name to "Stain", but due to another band owning the name, it changed its name to "Lit" in 1996.

Owls

Since their early high school days in 1989, the members of Owls -- Tim Kinsella , Mike Kinsella , Victor Villarreal, and Sam Zurick -- have been playing together in some form or another. They had their greatest success as Cap'n Jazz, a screamy emo/hardcore act that also included The Promise Ring's Davey von Bohlen during its later days. The group's youthful exuberance was intense, but things ran their course and they disbanded in 1994.

The Gauss Experience

The small red lamp throws warm light on the keys of the organ. The man with horn-rimmed spectacles holds an electric guitar. The gentle melody that he plays seems dreamy, as if taken from a children's book. Another man adds a slightly dismal mood with the deep notes he draws from his instrument. Still it feels strangely comfortable. The ambience seems intimate, as if you could slightly identify with it. Just until the third man batters his drums.

Eef Barzelay

Eef Barzelay (born Ifar Barzelay in Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 12, 1970) is an Israeli-born American musician. Mostly known as the principal songwriter and singer of alt country band Clem Snide, Barzelay has been performing since 1991. Early on this included stints in a number of Boston-based bands, while later he has toured as a solo act, both as headliner and as international support. Barzelay was raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He enjoys old-timey music but also has an out-of-left-field interest in the apocalyptic and the ways human folly and failure might influence it.

Pompeii

Pompeii's music is a thing of elegance and eloquence, splendor and daring. In just over a two-year lifespan, the five members of Pompeii have managed to construct a monument of evocative emotion, ambitious sound, and infinite vision. The foundation is a solid work of desire and commitment, held cohesively by the passion of Dean Stafford (vocals, guitar), Erik Johnson (guitar), Caitlin Bailey (cello), Rob Davidson (drums) and Shane Stevens(bass). Since the release of "Assembly" Shane Stevens and Caitlin Bailey have both parted ways with Pompeii. Colin Butler has since joined the group on bass.

There are 4 artists with the name Waiting Room: 1) Waiting Room came to be in mid 2010 from both experienced backgrounds and fresh beginnings, soon after devising their own slant on melodic hardcore punk. Off the back of a four-track demo the five-piece began gigging all over town, with a song soon after featured on the 'This Is Brisbane' compilation alongside many of the city
