Mike Doughty

Mike Doughty (born June 10, 1970, in Fort Knox, Kentucky) is an American indie and alternative rock singer-songwriter and author. The former frontman of Soul Coughing barely sounds like his former self. Doughty began writing solo songs in 1995, but nothing materialized until Soul Coughing broke up in 2000, at which point Doughty began touring solo with his acoustic guitar after becoming clean and sober. Skittish was finally released to the masses along with the EP Rockity Roll on the ATO record label.

Something Happens

Something Happens were an Irish pop-rock band whose heyday was the late 1980s – early 1990s. The band’s line-up comprised Tom Dunne (vocals), Ray Harman (guitar), Alan Byrne (Bass) and Eamonn Ryan (Drums). The Dublin-based band’s first release was a live EP, I Know Ray Harman, in 1988. Later that year, their debut album Been There, Seen That, Done That was released on Virgin Records. One of the singles from this album, "Forget Georgia," was later covered by Canadian singer Emm Gryner on her 2005 album Songs of Love and Death.
