So far they have defended the belittled blue collar worker from Kanye West's "Gold Digger," told Gerry and the Pacemakers that in fact it is okay to walk alone, dumped the manipulative Martha Reeves on behalf of poor Jimmy Mack and taken the misguided instructions of a 17th century ballad to its logical conclusion.
Matthew Barber (born January 10, 1977) is a Canadian singer-songwriter of indie pop and pop rock with folk and alternative country influences. Barber was born and grew up in Port Credit, which is part of Mississauga, Ontario, just west of Toronto, before moving to Kingston, Ontario to attend Queen's University, where he volunteered at campus radio station CFRC-FM and performed at campus pubs. After graduating from Queen's, he went to McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario for his master's degree in philosophy, and here he began to take his performing more seriously.
The White Panda is a mash-up/remix duo made up of Tom Evans (aka Procrast) and Dan Griffith (aka DJ Griffi) based out of Chicago and Los Angeles. Panda formed in early 2009 after the duo decided to collaborate on their independent efforts. The two have been composing and producing music together on and off for about 7 years but just recently started focusing primarily on mash-ups. Most of The White Panda’s live sets are hosted by colleges although they can be caught at the occasional bar as well.

She is an all round modern media phenomenon. Based in St. Petersburg, Russia, Waks has been pushing her ideologies in music for a decade.
Samsara Blues Experiment are a Berlin based psychedelic rock band, founded in Summer 2007 by leadguitarist/singer Christian Peters. They went through several changes in the first period but are in constant line-up since September 2008 featuring Hans Eiselt (guitar), drummer Thomas Vedder and Richard Behrens (bass). As the band name implies, three elemental aspects are to notice - the blues as the foundation where it all comes from, the inclusion of spiritual influences accompanied by Indian/raga music and the experimental approach to mix up varied elements in a convincing manner.
