Obscura

There are at least four known artists that share the name Obscura: 1) A technical death metal band from Germany.
2) A death-thrash metal band from Germany.
3) A death-thrash metal band from Ecuador.
4) A death metal band from Sweden. 1) German technical death metal band Obscura was founded in 2002 by guitarist/vocalist Steffen Kummerer. The band caused a stir when they - out of nowhere - toured as support for Suffocation on their European tour in 2006 and when they independently released their debut album "Retribution" that same year.

Fractal

There are several bands with the name (Fractal): 1) Most of the tracks you can play here are from the instrumental debut CD Continuum, released in 2003 by the San Jose CA based progressive rock band Fractal. Their website is www.fractal-continuum.com. Fractal were formed in 2000 with a strong early influence from mid-late period King Crimson, and have since developed a unique sound, often using complex time signatures. In 2008, they are finalizing the recording of their second full CD. A single track from this CD "Aftermath" was pre-released in 2007.

Forgotten Tomb

Forgotten Tomb is a band formed in Piacenza, Italy in 1999 by Ferdinando "Herr Morbid" Marchisio. The band is well-known for being among the pioneers of the so-called subgenre. They have modified their style over the years by adding classic rock influences to the typical eerie sound. The lyrical themes of the early albums revolve mostly around depression and suicide, while the recent albums lyrics deal with negativity and nihilism.

3 bands are named Cholera: 1. Cholera is a band from Cleveland Ohio. Signing to Compton Records in early 08, they released an EP called "The Answer To Infection". Now, a few drummers later, Cholera is back in the studio, recording new music for pressing. Johnny Appleseed? 2. Cholera is a Industrial Black Metal/ Dark Ambient band from Finland formed in 2005 and has released a demo in 2005 called Kolkko then later in 2005 released a full length titled Kolkko II - Soundtrack of Oppression.

El Caco is a band from Lillestrøm, Norway. The members, Øyvind Osa (vocals and bass guitar), Thomas Fredriksen (drums) and Anders Gjersti (guitar), began working together in 1998. Fredrik Wallumrød joined the band in 2008. About El Caco (MySpace)
