Vildhjarta

Vildhjarta is a thall metal band from Hudiksvall, Sweden, formed in 2005. Their musical genre as described by themselves is "ambidjent". It has taken them a few years to go from something abstract into something concrete. However, their music is a mixture of the abstract and the concrete. The ambient and peaceful moments find a stark contrast in the more brutal and dark music that combined contribute to the comprehensive style of Vildhjarta.

JONCOFY

The band originated in 2007 in Kiev in the restless mind of guitarist-vocalist Math_Max, whose experiments with digging guitar and torturing his voice reached the dimensions of a mania and needed to be shared with someone. On the score of it the first 3-piece line-up was formated soon and recording debut of Joncofy was not too long to appear. The band’s 5-song self-released demo “Li(f)e?” was a really howling success. It had tons of positive replies and reviews in local and foreign music community and became kind of the quality standard for Ukrainian alternative metal bands.

Alarum

Alarum: (uh-lar-uhm, uh-lahr-) –noun. “A mechanism that produces awareness”. The Melbourne 4 piece progressive metal band have been just that since forming in 1992, and have been expanding that awareness ever since. But it would be unfair to simply lump them into the vague progressive metal genre, as they blend all forms of metal alongside rock, jazz, latin and fusion. After some early line up chan...

Five Star Prison Cell

Dubiously labeled a "Tech metal", or "Math Rock" band, Five Star Prison Cell offer a different and non-conformist approach to songwriting. Brutally heavy, Dark and forboding with the ability to switch time, pace, genre and style at the drop of a hat; Adam, Cam, Mark and Marc take great pleasure in constantly challenging themselves while at the same time serving up a dish of fresh new and always evolving ideas to their unsuspecting but ever growing fan base.
