J.K. Rowling

Joanne Rowling, (born 31 July 1965), better known under the pen name J.K. Rowling is a British author best known as the creator of the Harry Potter fantasy series, the idea for which was conceived whilst on a train trip from Manchester to London in 1990. The Potter books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, sold more than 400 million copies, and been the basis for a popular series of films.

ZZ Ward (Zsuzsanna Ward) is an American singer, musician and songwriter born in Pennsylvania and raised in Oregon, USA, in a small town called Roseburg. In 2009 she was signed to the Boardwalk Entertainment Group, and in 2011 signed to Hollywood Records. She released the mixtape 'Eleven Roses' and the EP 'Criminal' in early 2012, prior to releasing her debut album 'Til the Casket Drops' on October 16, 2012.

This female duo (Nicky Rushton and Rachel Collins) started out playing to small audiences at "The Forth" pub in Newcastle. They went on to achieve national attention after the 1988 release of their first album on Paint It Red records, "Anything But a Soft Centre". They toured nationally and played at the 1989 Glastonbury Festival. They went on to release "Centred" and "Sugar Baby Love" (1991) on Roundabout Records.

Clara Luzia

Clara Luzia is the band of Clara Humpel, an independent artist from Vienna, Austria. She used to be the singer of the band Alalie Lilt (http://www.alalielilt.net) until she formed a new band and they released their first album "Railroad Tracks" on April 21st, 2006.
Their following albums are called "The Long Memory" (2007) , "The String - And Then Some - EP" (2008), "The Ground below" (2009) and "Falling into place" (2011) and there are upcoming tour dates for Austria and Germany (see "Events").
