Julien-K began as a side project for electronic music created by Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck from Orgy, with the later addition of Brandon Belsky and Elias Andra. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is a rock band formed in 1976 from Gainesville, Florida, USA and led by Tom Petty. Petty has been supported by his band, The Heartbreakers, for the majority of his career. He has occasionally released solo work, as was the case with his 2006 album Highway Companion on which he performed most of the backing instrumentation himself. However, members of The Heartbreakers have played on each of his solo albums and the band has always backed him when touring in support of those albums.
Wheatus is a rock band from Northport, New York formed by Brendan Brown (vocals, guitar) in 1998. After writing a few songs, Brown enlisted his brother Peter Brown (drums) and Rich Ligey (bass) to record a demo. In 1999 the band signed with Columbia Records and released their debut album, Wheatus, the following year. This album contained the bands first, and so far biggest, hit, Teenage Dirtbag (from the movie Loser).

Fading Hour is emerging as one of the most promising young bands to hit the Australian music scene. Their sound is dynamic, distinct and lucid, showing influences by everyone from Incubus, Tool, Dredg and Porcupine Tree to likes of Chevelle, Disturbed and The Deftones. Their music is an amalgamation of genres which can best be described as progressive melodic and heavy rock. The Melbourne, Victoria four piece originally formed back in 2005, when guitarist Peter and drummer Shannon teamed up with Michael on vocals and Jono on bass.
1) Loop was a South London band founded in 1986 by Robert Hampson and his then wife, Bex. Loop's sound was characterized by strong krautrock and avant-garde influences in addition to the minimalist mayhem of The Stooges and MC5. Their songs were almost uniformly harsh and repetitive, with indecipherable vocals buried under layers of noisy guitar riffs and metronomic drumming. Some of the records featured covers of Suicide, The Pop Group and Can as bonus tracks.

Dublin trio The Minutes have gigged extensively in Ireland and the UK. Touring with the likes of Albert Hammond Jnr (The Strokes),The Pigeon Detectives, The Von Bondies & Supergrass. Previous singles include 'Black Keys' 'Harmonic' and 'Ukraine'. Ukraine helped the band establish themselves in the Dublin music scene thanks to heavy rotation on local indie stations. After a year long residency in 09' at Dublin live music staple Whelans, The Minutes developed a unique rock n' roll show to call their own.
