The Outsiders

There are several artists named The Outsiders (11 are mentioned here): (1) The Outsiders were a sixties beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 1960 as a neighbourhood band from Amsterdam East, The Outsiders became one of the most succesful Dutch groups of the 1960s. They made some lastingly great records and never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all of the twelve 45s and three LPs they made.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band

Robert Randolph & The Family Band is a multicultural American blues and funk band composed of Robert Randolph, Marcus Randolph (drums), Danyel Morgan (bass), and Jason Crosby (organ). Frontman Robert Randolph was trained as a pedal steel guitarist in the House of God Church, Keith Dominion, in Nashville, TN and makes prominent use of the instrument in the band's music. The group's sound is inspired by successful 1970s funk bands such as Earth, Wind & Fire and Sly & the Family Stone, another multicultural band comprised of former members of the Church of God in Christ.

There are two artists that share this name: 1) Fresh Madrid based Stoner Art-Pop Band. Strong and catchy rythmical basis meets angelical voice in a musical collage that goes from The Pixies to Nirvana, The Beatles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs or Violent Femmes. 2) A nederpunk (Dutch Punk) band named the Lullabies. G.B.H are a British punk band from Birmingham, formed in 1979, and still active today. They have stayed true to their punk sound, and their influence can be heard in many thrash and punk bands today. Notable albums include 'City Baby Attacked By Rats' and the E.P 'Leather, Bristles, Sick Boys, No Survivors...'. Notable songs include 'Generals', 'Alcohol', 'Big Women' and 'City Baby Attacked By Rats'.

Naked Raygun

Naked Raygun was a very influential Chicago-based punk band of the 1980s and early 1990s. All incarnations featured Jeff Pezzati on vocals. Members over time include Jim Colao and Eric Spicer on drums, Pierre Kezdy and Camilio Gonzalez on bass, and Santiago Durango. John Haggerty, and Bill Stephans on guitar. Naked Raygun began as a noisy, free-form artist, often trading members with Big Black but later sharpened into a hard pop outfit in a league with the Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, and The Jam.
