There are several artists with the name Dialect. (1) Dialect is a lyricist from Adelaide, South Australia. In 2010 he & DJ/producer Despair released their debut album ‘The Vortex’. (2) Dialect is an electronic based project by Dan Lovegrove from Reading, England. His music consists of melodic harmonies of layered electronica with influences of post rock as well. The Derek Trucks Band is a band started by slide guitarist prodigy, Derek Trucks, who began playing guitar and touring with The Allman Brothers Band, as early as eleven years old. Raised partly on tour with them throughout his youth, meeting and playing with famous musicians, Trucks was still unsure about his own future. He resolved to start his own band while still an adolescent. What first began as a side project, and a way for Trucks to explore his own creativity, has evolved into an eclectic band with some of the most talented musicians from the southeastern United States.

The Other Ones

There are several bands using this name: 1.) The Other Ones was a band that consisted mainly of Australians, but was founded in Berlin in 1983. Their first album The Other Ones was released by Virgin Records in 1986, and their song "Holiday" became a hit worldwide in the fall of 1987. The single "We Are What We Are" was a minor American hit. The videos for both songs are still in rotation on U.S. VH-1 Classic. Their second album Learning to Walk was also released by Virgin Records in 1988.

Comets On Fire

Comets on Fire are a band from Santa Cruz, California. The band was formed in 1999 by guitarist and vocalist Ethan Miller and longtime friend bassist Ben Flashman, who were seeking to create rhythmically and sonically intense music that paid no attention to categorizations. The band's self-titled debut was released in 2001 and eventually issued on the Alternative Tentacles label. Recorded on a four-track, it was a garage/psych freakout of intense if not epic proportions.

There are at least four bands using the name "The Dead": *American; rock, jamband genres: The Dead, also known as the Other Ones, are a North American rock band composed of former members of the Grateful Dead. After the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann formed a band called The Other Ones. They performed concert tours in 1998, 2000, and 2002, and released one album, The Strange Remain. In 2003, they changed their name to The Dead.

Brad Sinsel formed TKO in 1977 with Rick Pierce. Two years later, TKO released its debut LP, Let It Roll, and by 1981, the band was headlining shows at Seattle and touring as the opening act for AC/DC, Van Halen, Heart, The Kinks and Cheap Trick. TKO went through several personnel changes before recording its best - known album In Your Face, in 1984, and its final album, Below the Belt, in 1986.

Mike Keneally

Michael Joseph Keneally (Born December 20, 1961) is an American musician.
Born in Long Island, New York, he moved to San Diego, California at an early age and has been a fixture on the local music scene there since 1985 when he formed the local cult band, Drop Control.
Although a well established musician in his own right, Keneally is probably most well known as former Frank Zappa "stunt guitarist" and a Zappa 1988 tour band member.
