Pentatonix are an a cappella quintet from Arlington, Texas, and were the winners of the third season of "The Sing-Off" on NBC. Their members are Scott Hoying (lead), Kirstie Maldonado (female lead/harmony), Mitch Grassi (harmony), Kevin Olusola (percussion), and Avi Kaplan (bass). They specialize in futuristic sounds and techno-style pop. Their name is likely a play on both the pentatonic scale and the fact that there are 5 members in the group. A) Old school death metal band from Sweden. In the vein of the Swedish gods Entombed and Dismember, etc. Started out in the end of 1990 but were never satisfied with their demo recordings and never released anything. The band eventually died out but was resurrected by Jimmy in 2008. In his own words: "I was too nostalgic and said to myself that: Now, many years after the band died, my old songs must be recorded and a demo shall be made, so I started the band again on my own".

BADBADNOTGOOD is pianist Matt Tavares, bassist Chester Stone Hansen, and drummer Alex Sowinski, who is usually seen wearing a pig mask. The trio met at Humber College in Toronto, Canada and bonded over their mutual musical interests—OFWGKTA, Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka Flame. Lez Zeppelin are a New York City-based all-female tribute band, performing the work of Led Zeppelin. In April 2007, after touring in the U.S. and Europe, the band released its first album, Lez Zeppelin, which was produced by Eddie Kramer, former recording engineer on several Led Zeppelin albums. In the wake of this release, the band was invited to festivals including the Download Festival in the UK, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany, and the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans.
