CFCF is the stage name of Canadian electronic musician Michael Silver. Based in Montreal, Silver took the name CFCF from the call sign of the city's CFCF-TV. CFCF's debut LP, Continent, was an impressive collage of vintage electronic textures evoking grandiose landscapes worthy of a Michael Mann film. The River, an EP based partly on Werner Herzog's classic film Fitzcarraldo, deepened a growing obsession with conjuring far-away landscapes and voyages through a style which is at times melancholy, propulsive and ecstatic.
(There is also a Polish Rock band called Daktyl, although there is little information available for them).
Daktyl is one of those producers whose name couldn’t be anymore suited in describing his ability behind his productions. Having spent many years playing piano, pressured by his parents he began to learn the craft, which unknown to him at the time had added an assailment of skills to his production belt. The Pinecone Kids were born this year and with downs syndrome. As a result they go around asking people if they would like to buy pinecones. Straight outta east London gutters they play gritty grungey noisy madness, but also soft soothing sonnets of ambience. Essentially, the Pinecone Kids are a clan, a consortium, and they will infect you with their Pinecone insanity. The Pinecone Kids on Soundcloud

A) Old school death metal band from Sweden. In the vein of the Swedish gods Entombed and Dismember, etc. Started out in the end of 1990 but were never satisfied with their demo recordings and never released anything. The band eventually died out but was resurrected by Jimmy in 2008. In his own words: "I was too nostalgic and said to myself that: Now, many years after the band died, my old songs must be recorded and a demo shall be made, so I started the band again on my own".
Fozzy is a heavy rock band, fronted by professional wrestler Chris Jericho, and also including musicians from Stuck Mojo and on their recent album, guests from other established metal bands. Fozzy started out as Fozzy Osbourne, a cover band assembled by Rich Ward from whatever musicians he could find on a given week. In 1999, Jericho met Ward in San Antonio after a wrestling show, and was invited to play with the band. Jericho sat in on a few sessions, but did not plan to play with them permanently.
