Palace

1. Palace is one of the many names used at one point or another by Will Oldham. Palace came after he named himself Palace Brothers for the first LP, before Palace Music, and a few years before the world knew him as Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. According to Oldham, records released under the "Palace" moniker were usually recorded in the winter time, and feature some of his darkest, most challenging songs. Adagio

There are at least 4 entities named "Adagio": 1) Adagio is a French neo-classical progressive band hailing from Montpellier, France, formed in 2000. Stephan Forté, the band's guitarist, is considered the creative force behind Adagio. Adagio's music is characterized by technical precision, dark, dense orchestration, complex lead work, and a driving rhythm section. On the group's 2006 release Dominate, they added harsh vocals to their sound. The band's 4th album, Archangels in Black, was released on 02/02/09, and is the first album to feature their new vocalist, Christian Palin.

Mike Portnoy

Michael Stephen Portnoy (born April 20, 1967) American drummer primarily known as the former drummer and backing vocalist for the progressive metal band Dream Theater. Known for his drumming prowess, Portnoy has won 23 awards from the Modern Drummer magazine. He has co-produced the last six Dream Theater albums with John Petrucci, starting from Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory. From A Change of Seasons onwards, Portnoy has been writing a substantial amount of Dream Theater's lyrics, filling the void left by Kevin Moore, who left the band after the release of Awake.

Reptilian is the name of a heavy metal band hailing from the south of Sweden. The band started their musical career in 1999 and consists of Joel Linder (drums, ex Majestic), Jonas Blum (vocals, ex-Majestic), Jonas Reingold (bass, also Flowerkings and Midnight Sun), Thomas Blum (keyboards) and Peter Espinoza (guitar, ex- Nasty Idols) and Lasse Boquist (guitars).

There are two bands called Chaos Divine: 1. Hailing from Perth, Western Australia. The Canadian post-rock band is a collective of up to sixteen musicians built around songwriter Scott Chernoff. Members are involved with other ventures such as Fly Pan Am, the Boxhead Ensemble, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, the Shalabi Effect, and Codeine. They play , a genre fusing traditional North American folk aesthetics with the free ethos of musique actuelle.
