Lita Ford

Lita Ford (born Carmelita Rossanna Ford on September 19, 1958 in London, U.K.) is a hard rock singer and guitarist who achieved popularity during the 1980s. Ford was born in London but is of Italian heritage. She moved with her family to the United States while still very young. She began playing the guitar at age 11. In 1976 at the age of 17 she became one of the founding members of the legendary teenage all-female proto-punk-metal band The Runaways. There she played lead guitar.

There are at least 3 bands with the name Backwater: (1) Backwater (Germany) Thrash Metal band formed in 1981 who released two full-length albums: "Revelation" (1984) and "Final Strike" (1986). There are two artists called Trixter. One is a rock band from New Jersey (1) , the other a songwriter from the UK (2). 1. Trixter is an American hard rock band from Paramus, New Jersey. The band achieved moderate success in the early 1990s but disbanded for several years as 80s style rock lost mainstream popularity. The original members reunited in 2008 to tour and record new material. 2. Firehouse

FireHouse is an American band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989. The band reached stardom during the early 1990s with hit singles like "Don't Treat Me Bad" and "All She Wrote", as well as their signature ballads "I Live My Life for You", "Love of a Lifetime", and "When I Look Into Your Eyes". At the 1992 American Music Awards, FireHouse won the award for Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock New Artist; chosen over Nirvana and Alice in Chains.

1. Oz is a Finnish band in the 80's. They're not very well known these days but they were among the first and most succesful bands and did some solid groundwork for the Finnish metal scene that blooms today. The band retired after releasing the "Roll the Dice" album, but reunited, located in Sweden, in February 2010. The band has, until this day, released 5 studio albums, 1 EP, Two singles and has appeared on "Scandinavian Metal Attack" splits 1 & 2.
