1. Palace is one of the many names used at one point or another by Will Oldham. Palace came after he named himself Palace Brothers for the first LP, before Palace Music, and a few years before the world knew him as Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. According to Oldham, records released under the "Palace" moniker were usually recorded in the winter time, and feature some of his darkest, most challenging songs. Cuff The Duke

Cuff the Duke is a Canadian band from Oshawa, Ontario, that has been active from 2001. They play a blend of traditional country and folk music with indie rock influences, and can be categorized as an alt-country group. The line-up of the band has evolved, with the consistent members thus far being Wayne Petti (vocals, guitar, keyboards, harmonica, bass) and Paul Lowman (bass, piano, backing vocals, fiddle, guitar, lap steel). Petti and Murray have also released solo albums.

Stars Of Aviation

Stars of Aviation are a pop group from Brighton and London. They met in university Russian class in 1998 and started playing together in 2000. Since then, they have grown in number to eight and now feature guitars, drums, trumpet, accordion, keyboards and bassoon. Stars of Aviation have released a number of EPs and singles. Marie et l'accordeon, released on Kitchen Records in 2006, gained radio play from Huw Stephens on Radio 1 and a number of BBC 6Music shows and was described as 'a slice of escapist wonder'.
