Little Mix

Little Mix (previously Rhythmix) are the 2011 winners of The X Factor, and the first group to ever take the grand prize. The Cannonball Songfacts reports that their debut single, a cover of the Damien Rice ballad Cannonball was released digitally the morning after their win. The song was produced by Fazer, who is the N-Dubz colleague and boyfriend of their mentor, Tulisa Contostavlos. According to Songfacts, Wings, the lead single from their debut album, will be released on August 19, 2012.

There are, at least, fourteen artists using this name: 1. DiVA, a sub-group from Japanese idol group AKB48 formed in February 2011. Members consist of Akimoto Sayaka (秋元才加), Umeda Ayaka (梅田彩佳), Masuda Yuka (増田有華) and Miyazawa Sae (宮澤佐江). They are being promoted as a 'vocal and dance unit'. Mutya Keisha Siobhan

Mutya Keisha Siobhan are an English girl group based in London. Formed in 2011, the group consists of Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan. They are the founding members of the Sugababes, although each of them departed individually in 2001, 2005 and 2009. Buena, Buchanan and Donaghy released their first group effort as the Sugababes in 2000 with the album One Touch. From November 2011, they began recording their debut album alongside the likes of Dev Hynes, Shaznay Lewis, Cameron McVey, Naughty Boy, Richard X, William Orbit and MNEK.

Shakespear's Sister

Shakespear's Sister were pop/rock duo consisting of former Bananarama member Siobhan Fahey and (from 1989 - 1996) singer/songwriter/guitarist Marcella Detroit (real name Marcy Levy). Detroit had previously performed with Eric Clapton, released a solo album in 1982, and has since released more solo material as well as a blues album with the Marcy Levy Band. Fahey was born in Dublin, Ireland, and Detroit was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, hence her stage name.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) The Saturdays are a five-piece girl group with members from the United Kingdom and Ireland. The band consists of 5 performers; Una Healy (born 10 October 1981), Mollie King (born 4 June 1987), Frankie Sandford (born 14 January 1989), Rochelle Wiseman (born 21 March 1989) and Vanessa White (born 30 October 1989). The 5.6.7.8's are a female, three-piece, japanese rock and roll band, whose music is reminiscent of American surf music and garage rock. The band formed in Tokyo, Japan in 1986. The band currently consists of founding members Yoshiko Fujiyama (vocals, guitar) and her sister Sachiko Fujiyama (drums) and long-time bassist Akiko Omo. The group have so named themselves because they do 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's rock. They do many covers from American rock and roll records.

The Supremes were a very successful motown all-female singing group active from 1959 until 1977, performing at various times doo-wop, pop, soul, broadway showtunes, psychedelia, and disco. One of Motown's signature acts, The Supremes were the most successful African-American musical act of the 1960s, recording twelve #1 hits between 1964 and 1969, many of them written and produced by Motown's main songwriting and production team, Holland-Dozier-Holland.

A UK girlgroup formed in 2004. They like the 'Monkees' and 'S Club 7' before them, were stars of their own TV show called 'Totally Frank'. Series 2 was aired in the UK on Channel 4 & E4 in Summer 2006. The group shared the same producers as 'Girls Aloud'. 'Frank' co-wrote their debut album 'Devil's Got Your Gold' (released in the UK on August 7th 2006) and also played all their own instruments. Their debut single 'I'm Not Shy' debuted at number 40 in the UK.
