Duarte Lobo

Duarte Lobo (1565? in Alcáçovas?-September 24, 1646 in Lisbon) was a Portuguese composer of sacred music. He was among the most prominent figures of the "golden age" of Portuguese polyphony, along with such names as Manuel Cardoso and Filipe de Magalhães. Lobo, also known under his latinized name Eduardus Lupus, began his musical career studying under the famous Manuel Mendes. He thence worked his way up to the position of mestre de capela at the Lisbon cathedral, one of the most prestigious musical appointments in Portugal.

Rodrigo Leão

Rodrigo Leão is a Portuguese musician and composer. He was born in Lisbon in 1964. He became known for his musical compositions and participation in portuguese bands such as Madredeus and Sétima Legião. He co-founded the band Sétima Legião in 1982 and Madredeus in 1985. As his solo records started to receive increasing attention, he suspends his colaborations with these two groups in 1993 and 1994.

Filipa Sousa

Filipa Sousa (born March 2, 1985 in Albufeira) is a Portuguese singer who represents Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, in Baku, Azerbaijan after winning the Festival da Canção with her entry, "Vida minha" (Life of Mine). Filipa debuted in 2003, as a member of the Portuguese group, Al-Mouraria. In the same year, she auditioned for the second edition of Operação Triunfo, reaching the 30 finalist but not qualifying for the last 15. It was in 2007, that she once again auditioned for Operação Triunfo reaching the final 15, and received recognition for the public.

We Are The Damned

‘We Are The Damned’ was formed September 2007, in Lisbon, Portugal by Ricardo Correia (Twenty Inch Burial)) and Paulo Lafaia (Painstruck), two old friends who decided to create a project where they could embrace all their favorite bands and blend them into their own creative musical convictions.

After hearing about this new band on the scene, Ragingplanet (the leading indie label in Portuguese extreme music) immediately signed the band.
