Born in 1980 in metro-Detroit and subject to the city
Mark Farina Shortly after Mark befriended Derrick Carter in 1988 at a record store in Chicago, his passion for House music, and sharing it with the world, exploded. Mark experimented with a deeper style, dropping De La Soul, disco classics and other stuff that wasn’t being played in the main rooms of nightclubs. While exploring his love for the purist forms of House Music, Mark developed his trademark style: Mushroom Jazz; acid jazz infused with the West Coast’s jazzy, organic productions combined with urban beats.

There are multiple artists with this name. Also shares a name with a remixer from OverClocked Remix. Hailing from Gothenburg in Sweden (home to our very own Plej), Cloud (aka Alex Berg) has an undisputable musical history. Brought up by musical parents and with his older brother Hird already having a successful recording career (his recent album "Moving On" has been creating quite a stir in the future-jazz scene), it was a natural choice for Cloud to step into the studio... Gothenburg has been putting Sweden firmly on the music map of late, with a huge amount of young talent emerging.
It all started back in 2001. There was a radio show that changed his life. Two gentlemen (DJs Carlo & Truhlik) were delivering the best house records. He didn't know at that time this was music which will change him so much...Actually, he wasn't listening to it, he recorded it .He listened to that session on another day and fell in love with house music. Next episode was enjoying tons of house radio stations all over the world during studies at college. Another big influence came up very quickly, it was the famous PlanetSoul Network radio.
