American Me

Originally formed in Portland, Oregon as a side project of It Prevails in 2006, American Me ended up going full time to pursue a heavier endeavor. Since getting signed to Rise Records, the band has released 2 full length albums, the most recent of which being Siberian Nightmare Machine, and 1 EP, with a 3rd full length due for release August 2012 through Rise Records. JAK is a San Diego alternative experimental band started in the 1998 by a group of musicians that had met through their associations with a small music shop in La Jolla. Driven by the haunting vocals and songmanship of Julie Kitterman, JAK (an acronym for "Julie Amanda Kitterman") began as a collaboration between Kitterman and guitarist Ken Abellon and had various incarnations with a rotating troupe of musicians, most notably Chris Prescott, drummer of the experimental indie rock band No Knife. During this period, the band mustered up three self-released EPs, "Six", "Seven" and "Eight".

In the year 2012, Satan faces declining popularity and certain defeat at the hands of thee reinvigorated Christian Militia. As the final days before the apocalypse tick down, Satan makes a last ditch effort to win the war for evil. He sends back his favorite band of psychotic, LSD-soaked, metaphysically amorphous androids to recruit kids for the dark side through space, drugs, and rock and roll. That band is known as thee mighty, electric Blood Beach.

Emancipator

To some, it must seem like this young electronic producer came out of nowhere. Emancipator (Douglas Appling) played his first live show in July 2009, opening for Bonobo at the Roseland Theater (cap. 1500). Since then, he’s toured with Bassnectar, drawn crowds at festivals like Trinumeral and Symbiosis, and closed out Sound Tribe Sector 9’s late night parties in Denver at the request of the band.

While virtually unknown to mainstream metal and rock circles, Defiance is known as one of the classic second-tier thrash bands to come from the Bay Area thrash metal scene. They played a decidedly technical style of thrash originally evoking bands like Testament, though they would later move on to playing in their own unique, more progressive thrash style. They reformed in 2005 and have since release an album entitled The Prophecy in late 2009.

Storm Large

Storm Large is the dramatic, vivacious singer of Storm and The Balls in Portland, Oregon. Storm came to national attention when she appeared as a contestant on the CBS reality television show Rock Star: Supernova. Dave Navarro, ex Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane's Addiction guitarist, recorded a guitar track on her single "Ladylike." On October 14, 2006, "Ladylike" debuted at #5 on Billboard's "Hot Singles Sales" chart. Before the Balls she performed in Storm Inc.

Hellshock

Hellshock is a Crust Punk band from Portland, Oregon that was formed in 2000. They combine a brand of "Dark" Crust Punk with Hardcore Punk, and Thrash Metal. Lyrically, the band writes almost exclusively about war. The five-piece has ex-members of Remains of the Day, Atrocious Madness, From Ashes Rise, and Detestation. The band is still active today.
