Pollyanna

Pollyanna is the name of two musical artists : *Existing in the mid to late 90s, but still popular today, Pollyanna were an Australian indie/alternative rock band. The band consisted of, at various times, Matt Handley, Maryke Stapleton, Ace Moley, Andy Strachan, Shaun Lohoar, Glenn Maynard and Serge Luca.

They were originally a Sydney band but then later relocated to Melbourne (in 1997).

Penny Broadhurst

Penny Broadhurst (born 1980 in Harrogate, UK) is a singer and songwriter, based in Leeds in West Yorkshire, UK. Penny is known for writing sharp lyrics, showcasing her unique voice and world view. She believes in hooks, harmonies and all-out pop music, and hates it when all the songs sound the same. Her Allons-y! EP was released in September 2007. She currently plays live with a band as Penny Broadhurst & The Maffickers.

Steven Paul "Elliott" Smith (August 6, 1969 – October 21, 2003) was an American songwriter and musician. Smith was born in Omaha, Nebraska, raised primarily in Texas, and resided for a significant portion of his life in Portland, Oregon, where he first gained popularity. His primary instrument was the guitar, but he was also proficient at piano, clarinet, bass, drums and harmonica. Smith had a distinctive vocal style characterized by his "whispery, spiderweb-thin delivery" and use of multi-tracking to create vocal harmonies.

Cwtch (pronounced 'kutch') is a musical collaboration between Marie Craven (Pixieguts) and Paul Foster (Dementio13). Cardiff-based Dementio13 and Australia-based Pixieguts became online collaborators in 2008. Ali Whitton

Ali Whitton is a 27 year old singer songwriter. Ali has released two albums and recently one EP. His newest release was the iTunes / digital EP entitled "Ghosts (that Are Not Ghosts)" in June 2010. Ali worked hard in the last seven years but has always been overlooked by the lucky break that could push him into the consciousness of the indie masses. Feeling a little trampled on by the modern world, he plans a retreat and some time away from music. έχουν πάρει μέρος στο διαγωνισμό "Schoolwave" στον οποίο πέρασαν με την τρίτη φορά και το 2009 κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο τους demo με 6 κομμάτια. Τα 2 από τα 6 είναι διασκευές σε γνωστά παιδικά κομμάτια "το κοκοράκι", "Hakuna Matata" δίνοντας φρέσκο αέρα και χιουμοριστική διάθεση στη δουλειά αυτή.

Calvary

1) Calvary was a band from Chicago, IL. Formed by Matt Weeks (Current, Ottawa, .Nema) joined by his friends Dave Song and Jeff Rice (Ottawa, .NEMA) after the demise of their previous band Dearborn S.S. in late summer of 2000, Calvary grew to be one of the most recognized bands on Weeks's own council records' roster. Matt Ryan (ex-Human Cock) joined the band on second guitar. Calvary recorded a demo with that setup and released it on april, 20th of 2001. The remainder of the year was spent playing local venues and writing material for an upcoming full-length.
