www.facebook.com/schillermusic / www.schillermusic.com Schiller is one of Germany's leading electronic artists. The multi-Gold and Platinum-awarded project has been created by electronic musician, producer and composer Christopher von Deylen in the tradition of teutonic sound-pioneers. Born on January the 7th 1978 in Tortona (Italy) at the age of 14 he started deejaying at school parties and then in local clubs; at that same time he started getting involved into music production. In June 2001 he released his very first record called "Bitter candy" under the nickname B'n'3.
In October 2001 he began to work with "J.T. Company" (owned by Joe T. Vannelli) and became resident dj at the "Supalova Club" nights.
1) Band was formed by the sitar/guitar player Gualberto in 1967. At the beginning of the seventies Smash recorded two albums for Philips label "Glorieta de los Lotos" in 1970 and "We Come To Smash This Time" in 1971. Unfortunately early death of the vocalist Julio Matito bring band to the end. Music which Smash create is compare to Moody Blues and Vanilla Fudge psychodelic mood. Through guitar style of Manuel Molina we hear evident flamenco touch, applying on traditional "palos" (tarantos).
Nick Terranova. And His signature blend of catchy vocals, booming bass lines and genre-defying range are always in full effect on tour or at his "Dirty Sound" residencies at Late Night Empire in Las Vegas, crobar Chicago, Lizard Lounge in Dallas, On Broadway in San Diego, Bleu in Detroit, and Bliss in San Antonio. The energy and sexiness that are hallmarks of Terranova’s live shows are also his trademarks as a producer and remixer - a dance music "triple threat." That dirty vocal track your girlfriend keeps singing in the shower? It’s a Nick Terranova production.
Jens Lissat doesn't really need an introduction; insiders call him the "German godfather of techno". His eclectic career started 15 years ago with clubanthems like "Work the House-Sound", "Who is Elvis", "Der Erdbeermund" and his biggest success, the Interactive Remake "Forever Young", which still graces his studio in the form of a golden record. If "dirty Lissat" counts it right he could call more than 130 releases his own.
Micromattic is an artist collective working towards a truly groundbreaking concept for stage presentation of electronic music and visuals. We manipulate sound and images through movement with Nintendo Wii controllers, we beatbox and use our voices to generate sounds which we then loop, warp and twist in abstract textures. Now imagine all this served on a base of monochrome deep hypnotic IDM Techno grooves. That's what we are about!
When "Funker Vogt" was founded in 1995 by Gerrit Thomas and Jens Kästel, nobody could foresee that, within just one year, it would grow into one of the leading electro-acts of today. Originally, it had been envisaged as just one more of Gerrit Thomas's many musical projects; however, the project took the world by storm and grew to become his main act. The members consist of Gerrit Thomas, Jens Kästel, Björn Böttcher, Frank Schweigert (who replaced Thomas Kroll in 2004), and Kai Schmidt. They all hail from the town of Hameln, Germany.
The boy with the dot in his name and the dubby background, started to play records in
the early 90s far in the darkest reaches of the ruff'n'tuff Harz mountains, in former East Germany. This little country bumpkin practiced dilingently every night by candlelight at his aunt's farm.
1994. Phon.o cites the hay in the barn, the dirt in the fields and the sheep form calling him from beyond the hills as strong early influences of his deep and dirty style. In these times he got his first turntables and used every free hour to practise in his hidden secret cottage.
Terence Fixmer, born in Lille (north of France at the Belgium border) in 1972, discovered the EBM (ELECTRONIC BODY MUSIC) when he was 15 and became a NITZER EBB-, FRONT 242-, KLINIK-, - AND DAF- fan. At the beginning of the 89-90's he was a party freaker and his interest for the electronic sound increased with the apparition of the New-Beat and Techno in Belgium. At this time he started to buy records and " flashed" on VORTREX from FINAL EXPOSURE(+8). In 1992, he decided to produce his own music and he started to throw parties called "Cosmos" and "Space" in a club called PYRAMIDE.
