Formed in 1985, Bay Area band Insanity were instrumental in metal's evolution from thrash to death metal. Drummer Bud Mills was a big reason why, as his so-called "1-1" beat presaged the modern blastbeat. The band's sound more than lived up to its name. Not only did it crank thrash up to frenzied warp speeds, it also displayed chops well ahead of its time. Insanity were legendary worldwide in the '80s metal tape trading circuit, with members of Carcass and Napalm Death citing them as an influence.
There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Sorcery was a traditional doom metal band from Chicago, IL, USA formed in 1976. They released two albums: Sinister Soldiers (1978) and Till Death Do We Part (1980) 2) Sorcery was a death metal band from Gävle, Sweden, formed in 1986. They released three demos, an EP and an album: Bloodchilling Tales (1991, re-issued in 2006 and 2009). They split up in 1997.
1) Celebration is a psychedelic soul band based out of Baltimore Md. Celebration is comprised of singer Katrina Ford, multi-instrumentalist Sean Antanaitis and drummer David Bergander... and additional rotating memebers: Walker Teret plays bass, sometimes guitar, percussion and backing vocals, Tony Drummond, plays keys, percussion and backing vocals, Tommy Rouse plays guitar and percussion.
In the beginning the band as a three piece's sound was centered around the unique output provided by all the instruments played by Antanaitis in the studio as well as live.
A UK (Dudley) based death metal band, who play a fairly slow but heavy style which shows their talent with their instruments nicely. Worth looking into if you can find their self titled album. The members include:

There are many bands with the name Anguish. These include: 1. A Swedish doom metal band influenced by Candlemass. Released their debut album Through the Archdemon's Head on Dark Descent Records in early 2012. http://www.myspace.com/anguishdoommetal 2. A 5-piece deathcore band from the North-West coast of Tasmania formed in 2009 influenced by the likes of The Red Shore, Whitechapel and Thy Art Is Murder. A highly technical and avant-garde death metal band, Gorguts was formed in 1989 by Luc Lemay (guitar/vocals), Sylvain Marcoux (guitar), Eric Giguere (bass) and Stephane Provencher (drums) in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. They recorded a demo in 1990 entitled "And Then Comes Lividity", and then in 1991 released "Considered Dead" on Roadrunner, their first full length of death metal. The release was very promising, and even included a guest guitar solo by James Murphy and guest vocals by Chris Barnes.
Isole is an epic doom metal band from Gävle, Sweden that is currently signed to napalm records.
Isole started up under the name Forlorn back in 1990 with two sole members Crister and Daniel. Some demo tapes were recorded under the 90's. Then the band went into hibernation a couple of years mostly because troubles with members quitting or living elsewhere. In 2003 record label I Hate Records contacted them and wanted to sign Forlorn, and we wanted a fresh start after the hibernation and changed name to Isole.
