1. Sparta is an alternative rock band which formed in El Paso, Texas in 2001. The band originally consisted of Jim Ward (vocals), Paul Hinojos (guitar) and Tony Hajjar (drums), all former members of At the Drive-In. After a brief stint with Erick Sanger, the three of them recruited Matt Miller, an El Paso native and then-bassist of Belknap to become the band's permanent bassist.
Jamie's Elsewhere is from Sacramento, California, and was formed after the demise of Mozart Season in 2005 and are currently signed to Victory Records. Their sound is mellower than Mozart Season was, but still incorporate keyboard/piano elements. Some have compared Jamie's Elsewhere with bands such as Chiodos because of the ambient rock sound combined with raw screams and vocal variation. However, on their latest album, They Said a Storm Was Coming, their sound has been compared to the flourishing electronic-hardcore sound which hosts bands like Of Mice & Men and Asking Alexandria.
Deaf Center are collaborators Erik Skodvin (AKA Svarte Greiner, Xhale, Solitaire Albread) and Otto Totland (AKA Supine, Nest), operating out of Norway since 2003. They are joined by Neli Mothes (piano, accordion, vocals, clarinet), Lars Hiller and Frank Heim (guitars), Karsten Pretschner (bass), Gunther Strehlau (horn), Bernd Wunderwald (trumpet) and Markus Altmann (Cello).

The Recovery(2): Brooklyn Indie Rock (1) Originally a three piece, The Recovery acquired a fourth member around 18 months ago. They have supported bands such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Raveonettes, Silversun Pickups, Cooper Temple Clause, Young Knives, The Longcut and many others. They featured on last years Jim Beam Music Tour with Little Man Tate, The Motorettes and The Upper Room and are on the Fred Perry endorsed Subculture music site as one of the bands to watch this year.

He attended the Evening Division at the Juilliard School, as well as the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he acquired a degree in film production and a minor degree in History.
