The Native Cats are a duo based in Hobart, Tasmania consisting of Julian Teakle (ex-Frustrations and Bad Luck Charms) on bass and Peter Escott on vocals. Both program backing music. Ryan Preston has been an active music producer since 1999 but did not release any material until after 2000. He produced and released music with Cryalie during 2005 and early 2006. A fan made album of solo demos recorded between 2002-2006 was leaked onto the internet in late 2008, unofficially titled Haunted. During 2009, Ryan began working with a new group 'theAUDACITY' (usually incorrectly tagged as The Audacity), however, very little material emerged from the band.
