Pine Leaf Boys

The Pine Leaf Boys are a two-time Grammy Award-nominated Cajun and Creole band from South Louisiana. Members include Wilson Savoy (accordion, fiddle, vocals), Courtney Granger (fiddle, accordion, vocals), Drew Simon (drums and vocals), Jon Bertrand (guitars), and Thomas David (bass). Former members include Cedric Watson (fiddle) and Blake Miller (bass, fiddle). They play traditional Cajun and Creole music from Southwest Louisiana, inspired by bands dating from the 20s such as Amédé Ardoin to modern bands such as Mamou Playboys and Jason Frey.

Nathalie Natiembé

Those who met her, on her beloved island or while she’s touring Europe, agree on the fact that Nathalie Natiembé is a real phenomenon. She’s already in her forties when she decides in 1997 to perform for the first time, following the destiny an entire family from Reunion Island. Her genuine & energetic shows immediately charm the audiences in Indian Ocean, Southern Africa and soon worldwide. She offers Creole poetry, coupled with an adventurous and coloured Maloya.

Mirage

There are at least 14 bands named Mirage. 1) Mirage released numerous cover version megamixes of current pop hits during the eighties. Many of them were produced by Nigel Wright, sometimes together with Nigel Stock, John Davies & Robin Sellars. Mirage also had three vocalists that posed on the record-covers: Kiki Billy, Nicos Griffiths & Carlos Griffiths. 2) A cult hungarian new/darkwave band from the '80s.
