Jonny Craig is a Canadian singer. He currently fronts the band Emarosa and has recently returned to his post as singer of Dance Gavin Dance, the band he was kicked out of in 2007. His other projects include a former stint in Ghost Runner On Third and sharing vocal duties in the supergroup Isles & Glaciers. Don Ross (born November 19, 1960 in Montreal, Quebec to Scottish and Mi'kmaq parents) is a Canadian fingerstyle guitarist noted for the emotion and intensity of his playing as well as his use of extended technique. Ross' music borrows from rock, jazz, folk and classical music creating a style that he describes as "heavy wood". Ross is the first and only person to twice win the U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship (1988 and 1996).

Dashboard Confessional was started in 2000, by Chris Carrabba in Boca Raton, Florida, as a side project from his band Further Seems Forever. Chris recorded his first album, The Swiss Army Romance, in 2000. The following year, he recorded Further Seems Forever's debut album The Moon Is Down. However, he left the band soon after the album's release, instead recording and releasing his sophomore album The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, as well as a follow-up EP titled So Impossible.
