Eve Selis

From her website: "Eve Selis isn’t just a “singer” — she’s an emotion transducer who converts country, R&B, blues, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll signals into a megawatt zap that galvanizes everyone in its path. And as with fellow femme-furnace frontwomen Bonnie Raitt, Joan Osborne, Maria McKee, Melissa Etheridge, and Lydia Pense, the cauterizing power of Selis’s voice can arc-weld material from almost any genre into a personal manifesto."

50ft Woman

Inspired by the eponymous B- movie, 50ft Woman came to be in 2008. Rolling all her favourite bands into one, front woman Minki created a superhero character with a superhero soundtrack. Described as 'Blondie's forgotten love child' and a personification of 'Into the Valley of the Ultra Vixens', the catchy choruses, quirky lyrics and crunchy guitars make for a heady mix. one scary cat

One Scary Cat, or OSC for short, are made up of four friends; Charley, Terri, Phil and Mark.
They have known each other for many years, although they had lost touch for a while until towards the end of 2005 and a chance meeting in a supermarket car park of all places! Soon Saturday nights became regular get togethers for catching up on old times and drinking good wine. Eventually the conversations came to music where Mark & Phil had been in bands together before. Phil started bringing his bass along on Saturday nights to jam with Mark for old times sake.
