There are (at least) a number of artists performing under the name Ben: (1) a German spoken-word performer/rapper (streamable); (2) a UK jazz-prog band from the early 70s; (3) a US rapper; (4) a Swedish alt-country band now known as Rusty Flores; (5) Nigerian/British singer and songwriter Ben Ofoedu, most famously the vocalist for dance act Phats & Small; (6) Ben Ellis, Uk singer-songwriter. 1. There is a Spoken Word/Rap-Artist from Berlin named Ben, who collaborates with Audio88. He is a member of WIR - with Kid Kabul and Audio88. His tracks are available for streaming here.

Their debut single “Cosa Nostra” was released on Functional Breaks in 2003 and received universal DJ and radio support around the world. Their second release for the label followed soon after, a double ‘A’ sided single “Proper Tasty / Reconsidered” which firmly stamped its mark on the breaks scene with radio play on Radio One, Ministry of Sound FM, Breaks FM, several other international shows and has had DJ support from the likes of Freq Nasty, Krafty Kuts, Skool of Thought, Tayo and Steelzawheelz to name but a few.

The Loved Ones

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) The Loved Ones were an Australian rock group of the 1960s, formed in the wake of the British Invasion. Although the band’s career lasted only two years, the group is now regarded as one of the most significant Australian bands of the 1960s. 2) The Loved Ones are a band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band was founded in late 2003 by Dave Hause (formerly of The Curse and Paint It Black) on vocals and guitar, Michael Cotterman (formerly of Kid Dynamite) on bass and Mike Sneeringer (formerly of Trial By Fire) on drums.
