Denison Witmer is an indie singer-songwriter from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. His first release was a cassette in 1995 entitled "My Luck, My Love". He has released five LPs, a cover album (Recovered), two EPs, and an LP with his side project, The River Bends, in which Witmer plays guitar and sings along with a backup band including members of Philly-based alt-country band One Star Hotel. Since 2006, Devin Booze and Sarah Reynolds have been actively recording and performing as EAR PWR, a project crafted around Booze’s instrumentation, Reynolds’ lyricism, and the two’s creatively synergetic interplay. Booze’s training at the Bob Moog founded music technology program at UNCA lays the sonic groundwork upon which EAR PWR is ultimately realized. Utilizing a collection of analog synthesizers and miscellaneous live percussion, the two explore and invent densely textured soundscapes.
Following a short-lived stint in Baltimore, EAR PWR returned to the mountains of their native North Carolina to get to work on their sophomore record with a more grounded and earnest approach than was seen on their off-the-cuff and dance-heavy Carpark debut. Booze’s handwritten musical compositions--compiled while touring Europe and the US with friends Future Islands and labelmate Toro Y Moi--are overlaid with Reynolds’ naturalistic allusion and everyday sentimentality, blossoming into ten diverse tracks of tactile electronica, spattered percussion, thematic depth and lyrical melody that attest to the transformation enacted by these two over the last year and a half.
Emerging from this sea change is a unique creation brimming with joy, contemplation, and an energetic spirit harnessed in Booze and Reynolds’ collaborative commitment to one another in their maturing musical endeavor. In May of 2011 EAR PWR will have the honor of performing at the ATP Festival in England curated by Animal Collective.
Ecstatic Sunshine is an ongoing musical project that began in 2005 as a guitar duo comprised of Matthew Papich and Dustin Wong (who has since left the project to pursue Ponytail and his own solo guitar musics). Ecstatics has released 3 LPs and 2 EPs since that time and has performed hundreds of shows in the United States and Europe with a revolving group of players. Currently, Ecstatics live performances are solo endeavors by Papich.
Bacharach studied music at McGill University and the Mannes School of Music. In the 1950s and the early 1960s he was the pianist, arranger and bandleader for Marlene Dietrich with whom he toured. He teamed with lyricist Hal David and others to write many popular songs in the 1960s and 1970s. Bacharach's music has been sung by a number of popular singers including The Beatles,The Carpenters, Aretha Franklin, Jack Jones, Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield, Luther Vandross and The Drifters. He met Dionne Warwick, with whom he would form a famed collaboration.

Raein is a screamo band from Forlì, Italy. The band features members of La Quiete and Neil on Impression. They formed in 2000 and split up in 2005.

Avey Tare (born David Portner on April 24th, 1979) is a musician and founding member of Animal Collective. Avey Tare met Animal Collective's Deakin (Josh Dibb), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), and Geologist (Brian Weitz) in high school. For years, the four of them swapped homemade recordings, shared musical ideas and performed in different group configurations. Avey Tare recorded the Spirit They’re Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished album with Panda Bear, and initially released the recording on the band's own Animal label in 2000.

Emcees perform solo or with one another, each contributing a different approach to their music.
