The Weeknd is a Toronto-based R&B singer named Abel Tesfaye. Abel started uploading songs to YouTube in 2010 and in March of 2011 he dropped his first mixtape, House of Balloons. In August of 2011, he dropped his second mixtape, Thursday. His third mixtape, Echoes of Silence, was released on December 21 2011. The Weeknd takes his ambivalent emotional tenor and stretches it out, building a whole worldview from it. Shark Bait

One of the many artists/bands that uses the name Shark Bait is a screamo/folk/emo band formed in Louisiana. With members of many other local bands Shark Bait have recently released 'Growing Pains,' Still Growing'and a split with Adaje available at their bandcamp. You can find them at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shark-Bait/108591182530199 A Dutch band that was founded in Haarlem, The Netherlands by bass-player Tim Verwaal and keyboard-player Remon Rijper in 2008.
