These Miles

After nearly a year of a studio procrastination, forming early 2012 in London, UK, These Miles are probably ready to fill some ears. A set of much-loved songs brings a sound that crunches Texas Is the Reason, Interpol, At the Drive-In, Cursive, Thrice, Quicksand, and Propagandhi into a veritable canvas of frantic and driving rock. Crunching guitars with intricate melodies sound like an assault of ideas realised with considered pop hooks. The drums pound and double-kick with the urgency and energy of a beloved hardcore band, and the bass picks out a groove that gives the songs a furious swing.
