Neon Neon

Neon Neon is a collaboration between the artists Boom Bip and Gruff Rhys. They first worked together on Boom Bip's Blue Eyed in the Red Room album, released in 2005. Their debut album, Stainless Style was released on March 18th, 2008 through Lex Records. Their first single Trick for Treat is also out, and can be heard on their myspace page. The album "Stainless Style" was nominated for the 2008 Mercury Prize.

Broken Spindles

Broken Spindles is the brainchild of Joel Petersen of Omaha, Nebraska. He is in other Saddle Creek bands, playing bass guitar in The Faint and Beep Beep. The music is mostly instrumental with minimal vocals which Petersen sings. It originally started in 2001 as the soundtrack for a friend's film. It developed into a solo project with the first release in 2002 on Tiger Style Records. In between touring with The Faint and Beep Beep, Petersen found time to write music for Broken Spindles. The song, "Song No Song," from fulfilled/complete was used in a car commercial for Lexus

Jenny Wilson

Swedish Jenny Wilson makes elegant and sophisticated pop music with hints of synthpop. Her self-produced solo debut, Love & Youth, on which she also plays every instrument, was released to much critical acclaim in 2005. Music journalists ranked it as one of the best Swedish albums of the year. As a teenager in the early 90s, Jenny Wilson - born in 1975 - originally wanted to become a writer. At that time she discovered PJ Harvey's Rid of Me, an album that inspired her so much that she decided to give up on her writing career and focus on music.

Rollo

Rollo is a solo project of an (apparently) anonymous artist, ferried onto record by legendary Boris drummer Atsuo Mizuno. Rollo released his debut, Pinhole, in 2007. Second album 3 arrived in 2010. Each album is limited to 500 copies on vinyl from Inoxia Records. He creates psychedelic-infused folk music, playing guitar and singing on most of his songs. Atsuo also created the visual art for the albums.

After his acid house debut on Pumpking records in 1996, Sound Of Barclay released the "Sense Juice" and "Gourmet EPs" under the name Jackson & His Computer Band.

Banyan

Banyan is an / band with heavy , , and influence, based in Los Angeles, California. The leader and co-founder is Stephen Perkins, who first played drums for Jane's Addiction (1986-1991, plus later regroupings), and then for Porno For Pyros. He co-founded the group with David Turin. The core members of the band are Nels Cline on guitar, Willie Waldman on trumpet and Ex-Minutemen Mike Watt on bass. Mike Watt also sings on some Banyan songs.

Prince Paul

Prince Paul (born Paul Huston) is a legendary DJ and hip hop producer. Prince Paul is known for having a very unorthodox, but mostly well-received sense of humor. Musically, he was one of the driving forces of what was to become known as alternative rap, by using surprising samples and quirky humour. Originally a member of Stetsasonic, he produced De La Soul's 1989 debut album 3 Feet High and Rising (It was on this album that Prince Paul invented the hip hop skit which has a long-standing and pervasive tradition on Hip hop albums to this day).

2) a band featuring Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne.
3) a Minneapolis hard rock band formed in 2008 1) In the Ben Gibbard version, Ben shared lead vocal duties with Justin Kennedy, who now fronts L.A. popsters Army Navy. The band sounds more like Built to Spill than it does Death Cab.
