Audio Werner
Andreas Werner is one of today’s most prolific figures in the incredible Techno universe of Cologne. He encapsulates a delicate rhythmic sound and expression that is best exemplified in his 12” Zwrtshak Drive—a favourite among artists such as Guido Schneider, Richie Hawtin or Ricardo Villalobos on his most recent tour. It was also a #1 selection in the German publication Groove Magazine. Supported over the last few months by Triple R (head of the Traum label) under his pseudonym Audio Werner...
Reinhard Voigt
As a member of Kompakt since the early 90s, Reinhard Voigt has been a key player in the development and subsequent success of this legendary Cologne-based record label. Taking early notes from his infamous older brother Wolfgang Voigt (aka Mike Ink), Reinhard has refined and re-tooled his sound in a direction that has become unmistakeably his own in it's dirty, subversive (yet charming) minimal techno pop.
Thomas Fehlmann
Now that his work with The Orb has earned him a place in electronic music history, Fehlmann is afforded the artistic license to transcend all previous boundaries. His musicality and experimentalist drive converge with exceptional grace and system-bumpin' appeal. Granular hip-hop grooves and exotic chord structures interface with bold, synthetic finesse, while his housier inner child locks down some precision dance-floor cuts immersed in fluidly manipulated filtration.
Wolfgang Voigt
Wolfgang Voigt is an electronic music artist from Cologne, Germany, known for his output under various aliases on a plethora of record labels, including Warp, Harvest, raster-noton and Force Inc. Although widely known as a tireless producer, he is best known for co-founding the influential German microhouse label Kompakt alongside Michael Mayer and Jürgen Paape.
Aliases include: All, Auftreib, Brom, C.K.
Lissat & Voltaxx
Jens Lissat doesn't really need an introduction; insiders call him the "German godfather of techno". His eclectic career started 15 years ago with clubanthems like "Work the House-Sound", "Who is Elvis", "Der Erdbeermund" and his biggest success, the Interactive Remake "Forever Young", which still graces his studio in the form of a golden record. If "dirty Lissat" counts it right he could call more than 130 releases his own.
MIT
MIT was formed in 1934 when one of the first ever robots was created and learned german, MIT then spent the rest of their days writing songs about it and its exploits.
Thomas Brinkmann
Thomas Brinkmann (born 1959) is a highly regarded German producer of experimental minimal techno music. Although experimenting with records since the early eighties, he gained wide reputation with his re-workings of material by fellow artists Mike Ink and Richie Hawtin released in the second half of the 90s. These productions were made by playing physically modified vinyl records on highly customized turntables with an additional tone arm.
