Letherette

Letherette started life in a dark lounge hidden from the normal crowds and untouched for years, playing over and over the music itself sounded more and more dusty as the years grew. Country girls dressed in gingham from the surrounding areas where drawn in by the music and came from miles around to dance, there love for the music grew so strong they wanted to take it home. This was against the biggest rule of the ‘Letherette Lounge’ and so they stole cassettes and hid them in there bloomers smuggling them out, only now has it started to leak.

Manitoba

The former alias of Dan Snaith, an electronic musician from Dundas, Ontario, Canada. Snaith renamed himself Caribou in 2004 under threat of an American lawsuit by Richard "Handsome Dick" Manitoba, who had used the surname professionally since the 1970s but has not released any music as a solo artist. Manitoba's critically acclaimed album "Up In Flames" has since been re-released under the Caribou name and listed as such in discographies.

Light Year

1. Light Year was formed in 1974, when drummer Zak McGrath joined forces with his friend and colleague, pianist Cornelius Williams, with the idea of putting together a band to play new music. They recruited Randy Sellgren (Mingo Lewis-Flight Never Ending) to play guitar. John Yu, the bass player, brought Doug Johnson to play percussion (vibes, marimba, hand drums and other bells and whistles). The singer Sharon Pucci joined later to complete the ensemble.

Boca 45

Boca 45 is DJ and producer Scott Hendy, from Bristol, UK. Since 2004 he has been signed to the independent record label, Grand Central Records. Prior to this, he released material on Hombré Recordings, Illicit Records, Superslick Stereo Sounds and High Noon Records. The name is derived from the Argentinean football team Boca Juniors, and a common name for a 7" single (so called because of the speed, in revolutions per minute, that a record of this size plays at).
