Hot Wax and Champagne

Having formed in London in January 2007, Hot Wax and Champagne will be releasing their first single in the UK through the label Music Void distributed by Pinnacle, on July 28, 2008. The band's sound is a blend of classic rock riffery and chiming melodically-driven songwriting, borrowing elements of soul, Rhythm & Blues and folk to create a contemporary, yet warm and familiar alternative rock sound. Fans of Hot Wax and Champagne have referenced The Eagles, REM and the Goo Goo Dolls when describing the band's appeal.
