Jimi Jamison

Jimi Jamison (born Jimmy Wayne Jamison, August 23, 1951) is a rock vocalist, best known as the lead singer for the band Survivor from 1984 to 1989. Jamison would later reunite with Survivor for a tour in 2000, and for one album in 2006. He has also sang for the bands Target and Cobra and provided background vocals for other bands including ZZ Top. Among his best known performances are "Burning Heart", from the Rocky IV movie with Sylvester Stallone, which hit #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, "High On You" (#8 US), and "The Search Is Over" (#4 US).

Faithnfury

Faith n Fury was formed in December 2007. An explosion of musical energy, delivered to you through the airwaves. In 2008 FNF released their debut EP "Close to the edge" this concoction of epic hooks, driving basslines and eclectic drumming makes you wonder how a three piece could achieve such a giant sound. The band has been firing off live shows across the UK, making their presence known. Notably supported Zico Chain in June 2009 and The Doll that Kicks at The City that Rocks Festival in 2010.

Mirage

There are at least 14 bands named Mirage. 1) Mirage released numerous cover version megamixes of current pop hits during the eighties. Many of them were produced by Nigel Wright, sometimes together with Nigel Stock, John Davies & Robin Sellars. Mirage also had three vocalists that posed on the record-covers: Kiki Billy, Nicos Griffiths & Carlos Griffiths. 2) A cult hungarian new/darkwave band from the '80s.

Grimace

There is more then one artists with this name. 1) Grimace (also Grymace or Grimache) was a French composer active in the mid-to-late 14th century. Grimace was active in the period of music history known as the ars nova and was probably a contemporary of Guillaume de Machaut, since his compositions lack the complicated rhythms of the Ars subtilior. Grimace's birth and death dates are not known; little is known about him outside of attributions in medieval music manuscripts. Five works are attributed to him securely; two doubtful attributions have been proposed based on stylistic similarities.

Sleeping Giant

Sleeping Giant represent a great and terrible day when all living things will return to dust; and their sound is as formidable as one might suspect the apocalypse should be. Lowrider

There are three bands with the name Lowrider. 1) Emerging onto the Adelaide music scene in late 2003, the foursome met through the city's tight knit music community after playing in different bands. Brothers Paul and John Bartlett aka Papa John and Mr Cee, teamed with Scott Duncan aka Scotty D and Joe Braithwaite to form Lowrider. Their distinct sound has been developed organically drawing from very diverse influences including Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Roots, Mos Def and Erykah Badu.
