Black Sixteen was formed in London, UK in late 2010 by songwriter Amir Khan (formerly of grunge-rockers 'Unusual Pets') on guitar, accompanied by Matt Burn on the drums, under the temporary moniker of 'Rain Hits Concrete'. The current line-up was completed with the addition of Alex Brock (previously in 'The Moscow Undergound') on bass and Laura Sepp (from Estonian metal outfit 'Label Of Guilt') on keyboards in early 2011.
Aonia was a district of ancient Boeotia, containing the mountains Helicon and Cithaeron, and thus sacred to the Muses, who are called by Alexander Pope the "Aonian maids." The band began as the brainchild of bassist Rob and rhythm guitarist Graham.in 2006. They had been playing together for about a year when they decided to start a project. Rob was also, separately but simultaneously, rehearsing with Tom, who also wanted to set up a band. Graham and Tony had been in a previous band, Fate Untold, five years previously, and so Tony agreed to become the unnamed project's drummer.
Big Joan are a band formed in Southampton in 1999 and currently based in Bristol. They play a distinctive, bass-heavy style of music influenced both by alternative rock and electronic dance styles such as jungle and breakcore. As a result, they have played at free parties and rave-orientated club nights as well as venues on the indie circuit. Though they have released material on other labels, the main outlet for their music is their own Blood Red Sounds imprint which has also released music by bands such as Mooz, Geisha and Hunting Lodge.
There are two artists with this name; 1.) Lost in Wonderland (LIW) is the solo project of guitarist singer-songwriter Alexis Demetriou. His compositions blend a Middle Eastern vibe with groove oriented heavy-metal riffs and soft atmospheric ballads which deliver catchy hooks with powerful lyrical and melodic content. This music was influenced by Creed, Pearl Jam, Tool, Nickelback, Korn, Godsmack, Audioslave, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Staind, Alter Bridge, Stone Sour and Disturbed.

Our band is a project based on different musical points of view. Emperor is an influential Norwegian black metal band that represents a synth laden, progressive yet brutally aggressive and chaotic part of the genre, something quite different from the minimalism of other originators of the Norwegian black metal sound (e.g. Darkthrone). The band was formed around the core members Samoth (Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen) and Ihsahn (Vegard Sverre Tveitan) of the death metal band Thou Shalt Suffer and bass player Mortiis (Håvard Ellefsen) in Notodden, Norway, 1992.
