Lowrider

There are three bands with the name Lowrider. 1) Emerging onto the Adelaide music scene in late 2003, the foursome met through the city's tight knit music community after playing in different bands. Brothers Paul and John Bartlett aka Papa John and Mr Cee, teamed with Scott Duncan aka Scotty D and Joe Braithwaite to form Lowrider. Their distinct sound has been developed organically drawing from very diverse influences including Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Roots, Mos Def and Erykah Badu.

Asteroid

Heavy, progressive Swedish spaced-out 70's-style fuzzrock. The band was formed in the winter of 2003-2004. Releases: "Demo 2004", "Ep 2005", "Asteroid & Blowback" (Fuzz Split 2006, Release April 2006 by Fuzzorama Records), "Asteroid" (2007), II (2010). ASTEROID II Fuzzorama records 22:th of Jan 2010 The history of Asteroid is a psychedelic space saga, timeless and endless, with no upside or downside, but with a beautiful ending. The band, formed during the winter of 2003, has undertaken a long musical journey and developed a sound well fit to the trio constellation.

Unida

Unida was an American band that was formed after the dissolution of Kyuss and Slo Burn. The band originally consisted of John Garcia (vocals), Arthur Seay (guitar), Miguel Cancino (drums) and Dave Dinsmore (bass). Dinsmore was later replaced by Scott Reeder, who was in turn replaced by Eddie Plascencia. Paul Gray of Slipknot also played with the band as a touring bassist. In 1999, the band appeared on a split CD release with Swedish band Dozer.

Truckfighters

Truckfighters is a stoner rock band from Sweden. After releasing several demos in 2001 and 2002, they recorded a split-EP with local Swedish band Firestone in 2003. In 2005 they released their debut album Gravity X on both MeteorCity Records and Fuzzorama Records. Their follow-up album, Phi, was released in 2007 by Poison Tree Records in the U.S. and on the Fuzzorama label elsewhere. Their sound has been described as classic desert rock, similar to bands like Dozer, Fu Manchu (with whom they have toured), and Kyuss.They have been featured on the MTV Sweden show "Fuzz"

4. An indie rock band from Mexico 1) Polish electronica-downtempo duo consisting of Patrycja Hefczynska (vocalist/writer) and Jacek Dojwa (composer/producer). Their music is influenced by such artists as Björk, Craig Armstrong, Amon Tobin, Telefon Tel Aviv, Portishead and Lamb. They released two LP's: "Czy słyszysz?" (eng. Do you hear) in 2002 and "Zgadnij" (eng. Guess) in 2006.

Slo Burn

Slo Burn was a short-lived stoner rock band out of Palm Desert, California that formed in 1996 in the wake of Kyuss' demise. They only released one EP entitled Amusing the Amazing before disbanding. The band comprised of Damon Garrison (bass), Chris Hale (guitar), Brady Houghton (drums) and John Garcia (vocals). Slo Burn toured with Ozzfest in 1997 but split up toward the end of the tour, effectively finishing the band at the same time the EP was released.

4. A Lithuanian electronic musician 1.The Machine is a traditional heavy rock powertrio. With two releases available, Shadow of the Machine (CD, 2007) and Solar Corona (CD+2LP, 2009), the band is gaining (inter)national attention with their mixture of stoner rock riffing, retro psych and some occasional acid blues jams. The subsequent effort entitled "Drie" was released in December 2010.
