The Remnant Kings are a self-described "indie/rock/funk" band from edinburgh who play energetic, intense, emotional rock n roll. Great melodies, scathing lyrics, big choruses, riffs, crashing drums, big vocals, funky basslines. In the past they have played with Jack Penate, Wheatus, Band of Skulls, We Were Promised Jetpacks, White Denim, The Hedrons, The Law, popup, The Rushes and more. They've played all over scotland and england, winning fans over with their energy filled performances and eclectic, honest tunes.
Dolla
Roderick Anthony Burton II (November 25, 1987 – May 18, 2009), better known by his stage name Dolla, was an American rapper. Originally part of a group group called Da Razkals Cru with friends Scrappy and Sas, a 12 year-old Dolla rapped in showcases around his Atlanta, Georgia hometown. Eventually, the group caught the attention of both Missy Elliott and P. Diddy. However those two weren't the only executives interested. By 2001, the trio signed to Elektra Records where Dolla met then unknown singer, Akon, who was producing for the label.
Falling In Reverse
Falling in Reverse is a post-hardcore band formed in Henderson, Nevada, United States. They were previously known as From Behind These Walls but due to another band having the same name they decided to rename the band to Falling in Reverse. The band consists of former Escape the Fate vocalist Ronnie Radke and currently has several instrumentals and demo songs. Falling in Reverse has signed with Epitaph Records and will release their new self-titled album on July 26th 2011. Their first single is called "Raised By Wolves" which is to be released on June 7th 2011.
C.N.Blue
C.N.BLUE (Korean: 씨엔블루), stylized as CNBLUE (Code Name Blue), is a rock band from Seoul, South Korea, which debuted under F&C Entertainment on August 19, 2009 in Japan with the band's first mini album, Now or Never. The group released four teasers for their 1st album Bluetory, starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Jung Yong Hwa on the 6th, 8th, 11th and 13 January respectively. On the January 14, CN Blue debuted their first mini-album with lead single "I'm a Loner" (Korean: 외톨이야).
Cuff The Duke
Cuff the Duke is a Canadian band from Oshawa, Ontario, that has been active from 2001. They play a blend of traditional country and folk music with indie rock influences, and can be categorized as an alt-country group. The line-up of the band has evolved, with the consistent members thus far being Wayne Petti (vocals, guitar, keyboards, harmonica, bass) and Paul Lowman (bass, piano, backing vocals, fiddle, guitar, lap steel). Petti and Murray have also released solo albums.
Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong
Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong were an alternative rock band from London, England which formed in 2006. They consist of Joe Lean (vocals), Panda (bass), Tom Dougall (guitar), Dom O'Dare (guitar) and Bummer Jong (drums). Joe Lean formerly drummed for The Pipettes backing group The Cassette and Tom Dougall is the brother of former Pipettes vocalist/keyboardist Rose Elinor Dougall. They list influences including Big Star, Smokey Robinson and Dion And The Belmonts...
She Wants Revenge
She Wants Revenge is a post-punk/darkwave duo hailing from Los Angeles, California who formed in 2005. The band is comprised of Justin Warfield (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Adam Bravin (bass, keyboards). Accompaniment members Thomas Froggatt (guitar) and Scott Ellis (drums) join them on stage. The band have released three albums: "She Wants Revenge" (2006), "This is Forever" (2007) and "Valleyheart" (2011)
Gregory Page
Gregory Page, formerly of The Rugburns, was born in London, England. As a teenager, he attended Trinity College of Music where he studied classical guitar and composition. At the age of sixteen, Page moved to Southern California where he began writing and recording music. Besides working on his own music, Page has also worked with eclectic array of artists such as Jason Mraz, John Doe, Jewel, Tom Brosseau, Steve Poltz and A.J. Croce. In 1996, John Doe, formerly of the band X, provided lead guitar on and produced his independently released Fare thee Well album.
Terakaft
Terakaft is a gang of guitarists, in the same vein as Tinariwen. Nothing astonishing about that if you consider that Terakaft was founded by Kedou and Diara, two formative and historical guitarists from Tinariwen. Moreover Kedou accompanied Tinariwen to the very first Festival with the Desert by Chock-Essako in January 2001, and contributes four songs on their first album The Radio Tisdas Sessions.
