Makoto

There are at least two artist with name Makoto: 1. Based in Tokyo, Makoto Shimizu, better known as simply Makoto, is Japan's chief Drum & Bass ambassador. After completing an Acoustic Engineering major at Nippon University, Makoto first signed with LTJ Bukem's legendary Good Looking Records back in 1999.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength, releasing a long string of quality music in the form of singles and EP's, but also on the famous 'Earth' and 'Progression Sessions' compilation albums.

Sebastian Döring (AKA Superbird) started his career as a remixer and producer under the name of TBA. Together with Daniel Klein (AKA Gucciman), in the late 90's they formed a first successful project: Kiez Kidz, named as a hint of the city of Hamburg where they produced. At the same time, Sebastian Döring and Torsten Freese (AKA Toddie) met in the club life of Hamburg and both together started the Knee Deep partnership.

Benny Sings - Art (2011) Benny Sings has finally graduated. With his new album Art, which was released on 27 May 2011, the multifaceted producer/composer/singer feels that it has all come together. ‘Making albums is a learning process. After every album I felt as if I completed another year at the Benny Sings Music University. And Art is my graduation project. It’s the finale to my ten years of toil. I now have my diploma. It represents my first work as a mature artist – my first real “work of art’’.’

Jenifa Mayanja

Ugandan born Jenifa Mayanja has been part of the underground deep house music scene for many years. She solidified her reputation first as a music buyer at the now defunct legendary record store "Dancetracks" and then as one of the most sought after djs in New York crowing her achievements playing at the "Body and Soul party many times over.
She created and nurtured her own parties that featured her eclectic style of djing one of those parties "Bu-mako" was the start of other creative avenues for Jenifa.

Hidden Agenda

Though brothers Mark and Jason Goodings didn't begin releasing records until the mid-'90s, they had been working together as a production/mixing team from the beginning of the decade.
 
With Mark's studio wizardry and Jason on the decks, the pair ranged all over the British north country from their base in Newcastle.
 
The duo began recording jazz-inflected drum'n'bass, and after meeting up with Fabio, Hidden Agenda debuted for Goldie's Metalheadz label in 1995 with "Is It Love."

Sleepmakeswaves are an instrumental rock band from Sydney, Australia.
